All of you idiots to think that is 10 or 20 years ago where you need it three years to build roster is so stupid. It’s year two year now you don’t have three years to build anything because the players change in and out due to NIL. You spend 40 or $50 million and you try to win the national championship that year. Idiots living in the past get with a program. Laine is a fraud so far and brings extra shenanigans that we don’t need. We paid him $13 million a year in over $40 million for our players to have a seven and five or an eight and four team this year. That’s freaking pathetic.

UCLA and Kentucky’s first year coaches have traditionally mediocre programs in line to make the playoffs.
Zero excuses in today’s landscape to look completely inferior against teams with a pulse with that much NIL money. Lane has underperformed. It’s that simple.

Yes, he does look like an idiot on the sidelines, grinding his teeth and you can tell that he knows he’s in over his head. We are idiots for continuing to pay coaches too much that haven’t proven anything with no results.

So next year, we will have another 30 to 40 new players from high school and the transfer portal and we will have to teach them a new scheme and plays just like this team. At what point do people understand that players don’t stay for three years anymore?

Take away the drama that he and his family create and his silly crap like the celebrity walk and especially the stupid arse dunking on a basketball goal, and he is still trash as a person but maybe more serious as a coach.

i'm not off, but i'm definitely a lot more skeptical than before about his supposed "genius"
maybe b/c we are seeing the same stupid shite with my other team, the Saints, where we are supposed to have this offensive guru, but yet, we are complete arse on that side the ball... dunno... but Lane better figure it the frick out or his time in his "dream job" will be a lot more short lived than he was expecting it to be

that's not a thing anymore... with NIL and the tranfer portal, you don't get the luxury, and subsequent excuse, of "give them a few seasons to get their team in order"....
you can build a championship roster in 1 season... go ask Indiana
