• No. 9 BYU at No. 3 Utah
• No. 7 Texas at No. 18 Missouri
• No. 5 Alabama at No. 14 LSU
• No. 23 Oregon at No. 12 Ohio State
• No. 6 Kentucky at No. 13 Tennessee
• No. 2 Georgia at No. 10 Ole Miss
• No. 1 Miami at No. 11 Notre Dame

Obviously LSU, but who else?

Edited to BOLD the general consensus for easy reference today.

A Missouri win probably eliminates Texas. I wouldn’t be upset if Texas wins
LSU obviously
Oregon
Tennessee
Georgia
Miami (eliminates ND)

Utah: If Utah wins, BYU is eliminated from the playoff race leaving more space for LSU

Coinflip: If Texas wins, they improve our SOS. If Missouri wins, they hand Texas 3 losses and frees up space for LSU

LSU: Obviously.

Oregon: Same as the above, a 3-loss OSU likely isn't getting in, though this could come back to bite if LSU also has 3 losses.

Tennessee: Muddies the waters with Kentucky's playoff chances, and improves our remaining SOS.

Georgia: Georgia is almost certainly getting in the playoffs. We need Ole Miss out and irrelevant.

Miami: Miami is almost certainly getting in the playoffs as well; 1-loss ND is already facing the boot by being ranked #11, another loss and they're out.

Would it not be better for LSU if Texas & Tenn won since we still play them?

Agree, with the possible exception of BYU/Utah. Thinking that a BYU win will keep both of them in the top 12, whereas a Utah win may drop BYU out of the top 12.

Why BYU? Having them and Utah with one loss doesn’t help as much as getting BYU to 2 losses and just outta the equation

LSU is in and may get a bye if they win out. The question is if they are in at 9-3.

for that to happen the following teams need to win:

No. 9 BYU at No. 3 Utah
• No. 7 Texas at No. 18 Missouri
• No. 5 Alabama at No. 14 LSU
• No. 23 Oregon at No. 12 Ohio State
• No. 6 Kentucky at No. 13 Tennessee
• No. 2 Georgia at No. 10 Ole Miss
• No. 1 Miami at No. 11 Notre Dame

We want Texas and Tennessee to lose. Playing them with 3 losses makes them alot less hungry coming into our games with them. SOS doesn't matter. If we win out we are in the CFP.
