Probably also thanks to the 12 team playoff field. In the BCS era, a 2nd loss this early would have ended any title dreams before we even got into the meat of the schedule. I guess technically we’re still alive if we win out, or go 5-1 with help…as low as the odds for either is

I mean whether they win or lose, I still have go to work Monday morning.

Same with me, I used to be a Saints fan then with all the money and pussification of the NFL I quit watching. I can see the same thing coming with LSU….not many Louisiana kids on the roster = no passion. I just don’t love it like I used too.

I’m not sure about old but if you are anything like me you saw we played not to lose instead of playing to win on or last drive and experience tells you that will not work especially on the road in the SEC. When we punted in the fourth on our last possession I knew exactly what was going to happen and accepted it as that is how we played the end of the game knowing what happened last week. Horrible coaching decision by Kiffin and Co.

It's because there's not a single play on the team that any of us can really identify with or feel attached to in any way as an LSU player. And next year's team will be another completely different group of people.

When we pay what we paid for this team … I expect a better product on the field . Totally unimpressed with Leavitt .

Yeah immediately following the draw I kicked a laundry basket a few times until my wife yelled at me to stop. So then I flipped it over. Aging gracefully.
In my defense I re folded the laundry and told her honestly she should have been kicking it after that false start no call. Also apologized to her that the ref and a lot of other things in that game forced me to do so.

It's not the same game as 10-15 years ago. It's been corrupted by money. Im. Kt saying it wasn't corrupt back then, but you had recruits that stuck around for longer. And you know the players on the team. And alot of them were from Louisiana. Thats not the case anymore. Between NIL and sports betting being wide spread it's a different game.

I was pissed right after but knew we were heading for a lost at the end of regulation. I too am over this football shite. Life is short and time to chill the frick out and that probably includes not watching LSU football.

It's not just you. I've been a Tiger fan since I can ever remember, going back to the early 70s at least. The players then bled purple and gold. They were proud to be Tigers and were loyal. Now it's whomever gives them the best NIL deal. Kiffin is a punk and a mercenary, willing to sell out to the the next school stupid enough to offer him more money than we did. I'm totally disgusted with the way college football is today and found myself tonight not really caring if we won or not. That is a tough thing for me to say and never would I have thought I'd feel that way. The games are just NIL paychecks to the players. So it's not just you at all.This is no longer college football. It's semi-pro football.
