LSU is about to move up yet another spot in the polls. Oregon is awful. They should have lost to Boise St. and they are about to lose to Oklahoma St. who got beat by Tulsa last weekend.
I think Lanning and Oregon are about to feel the effects of Will Stein leaving. Oregon looks terrible and so does Dante Moore. Kentucky is beating Bama right now.

The only thing I can think of to justify it is if they give up a FG it's still 8 points and they want to try to continue a possession.
But still, 4th and 8 with 7 minutes left is pretty wild to gamble on. Oregon has all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning too, there's still plenty of time. I'd be pissed if I was an Oregon fan.

No doubt but there defense has been garbage all day, but they did hold. We’ll see if it works out but I think you have to punt there. The risk/reward isn’t there.
