No. 10 Texas A&M Pulls Away Late For 48-20 Win Over Arizona State

No. 10 Texas A&M used a huge fourth quarter to pull away from Arizona State for a 48-20 victory Saturday at Kyle Field.

The Aggies led 17-10 at halftime and extended their advantage to 24-13 in the third quarter before Arizona State quarterback Cutter Boley connected with Reed Harris for a 58-yard touchdown that cut the lead to 24-20.

From there, it was all Texas A&M.

Marcel Reed found Mario Craver for a 33-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter before the Aggies' defense returned two Boley interceptions for touchdowns. Texas A&M scored 24 unanswered points in the final quarter to turn a four-point game into a blowout.

Reed finished 15-of-25 for 163 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Isaiah Horton caught two touchdown passes, while Rueben Owens II added a rushing score.

Boley threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns but was intercepted twice. Harris led Arizona State with nine catches for 189 yards and two touchdowns.

Arizona State actually outgained Texas A&M 369-255, but four Sun Devil turnovers proved costly as the Aggies improved to 2-0 on the season.
