Rushing to run a clearly obvious direct snap to Jones that Bama saw a mile away and shut down is why Kiffin and this team will never win anything.
He’s an arrogant prick that thinks he’s the smartest man in the room, and is extremely predictable much of the time in those situations.
But that is a microcosm of what is wrong with this team.

I hated that call. When you need a yard, you don't direct snap to a running back in the shotgun position. That's way too far back. And, to your point, when you see the running back by himself, everyone knows what's coming.

Yeah this might have been the most devastating and retarded call on the night. The whole game was in front of you and you hurry up a direct snap….. terrible.

We have run that set all season to run an alternate play out of it IN THIS GAME. Hate to be an arm chair coach but I really thought this is what we were going to do.

That 3-1 is spot on. Defines this staff. We’ve ran it god knows how many times and they knew it was coming. It was some brain dead lazy play calling. U can call this season a failure.
