I just thought it was a strange coincidence going from the #28 WR to #28 overall. From 167th to #28 is quite an impressive jump. Certainly not unheard of, but impressive.

Kid is a game changer. Vertical speed, catches everything, separates at all 3 levels. Flipping him from ole Miss was huge

Living under a rock, I missed this merger. Apparently, On3 bought Rivals from Yahoo in April of last year. According to Goole ai, Rivals will handle the HS recruiting and On3 will cover the NIL, Portal and other CFB data.
Side note: Shannon Terry starts Rivals, sells that to Yahoo for $98M. Then he starts 247, sells that to CBS for a rumored $200M. Then starts On3 and buys back Rivals. Now, I'm waiting for Terry to buy back 247, sell the trio to ESPN for $300M and Terry will start another recruiting competitor. Nice hustle!

They might also get Husan or Clark for a year or 2 before, too. It's a great sell to WRs. After this year, you get Husan or Clark for a year or 2 before Pop, etc.
