They don't groom QBs to play the position, they pick whoever is the best athlete or a white kid that can remember the plays.

It’s very hard to groom a QB, finding a kid with the physical and mental tools who can compete all game long is one thing…but are they tough enough to survive and do they want the job?

I went to the game and I sat there and watched a coach who acts like an idiot on the sideline get out coached and did not use holly!! It’s really unbelievable he never ran holly that much!! He single hardly lost the game.

One run was 63 yards.

I mean that means his other carries were 10 for 58yds. That's still pretty excellent.

any way you slice it, it's 11.0 yds per carry.

So you’d run Trey Holly straight into what must have been a Tackett Curtis stacked box 25 or 30 times

And not to mention they gave up 35.

It’s a team sport

You definitely give your best player more than 11 Carrie’s.

Their coach wasn’t great in the game vs many. Kind of a head scratcher…

I admit I never watched them play this season until that game but the play calling didn’t seem good at all. They tried to be cute instead of giving the best player in the game touches

How does 11 for 121 demonstrate this? Makes no sense

Demonstrates the retarded nature of so many high school football coaches.

I was there watching it and regardless what the #s show many & tackett Curtis did stop holley.

Then WE were watching 2 different games! Waas he running wild...NO. Was he consistently gaining yards..YES.

On another note...Call him what you want but Curtis is as good as advertised. My family was born and raised in Many and from what they told me his family were never big Tiger fans. I hate he didnt come to LSU but glad he is far enough away that we will not have to hear about him any more, UNLESS we meet them in the 12 team playoffs. Then he is TIGERBAIT!

Holley was the offense. This is small school football. 1 guy like Holley can carry a team. Give him more touches than 11 carries. RB like him gets going the more times he touches the ball. He totes it 25 times he might break 3 for TD’s. You rode him 2 years and now you put him to the side? Dance with the one who brung you.

Curtis played small school football on a stacked team. Let’s see what he does with the big boys. The competition he faced week in and week out wasn’t on par with large school. You take more of a beating - like playing SEC schedule week after week - you get beat up. They only had 2 games closer than 10 point victory.

Runs very stiff and doesn’t have fluid hips. If he was as advertised there would’ve been a lot more teams calling. USC is getting a normal pac10 LB who can’t play in space
