Surtain hurt, Landon Collins hurt, Joe McKnight hurt, and Cam Robinson really hurt. But to me the biggest would have to be Ed Reed.

Everyone "missed" Faulk. That's why he went to SDSU.

As for the others, that was at a time the best players in Nola weren't going to LSU has a matter of course.

Maybe going into the WAY back machine some might say John David Crow. North LA native who went to A&M and won the Heisman Trophy

In terms of star-gazing/HS hype, I'll add Underwood, Gunner Keil, Robert Nkemdiche, & honey fried chicken lover, Marvin Wilson. They all inspired some gloom & doom melts.

Dylan Moses and Landon Collins.

Moses particularly hurt because his dad was in here for years prepping us just to go to the dark side.

Pretty sure a lot of it had to do with what happened to his mother.

I don’t know if he was the biggest miss
but LSU wanted Cecil Collins so they let Michigan have Winnfield’s Anthony “A Train” Thomas. All he did was start 4 years and break the run happy Wolverine career rushing record. He was then the NFL Rookie of the Year.
