People were just expecting an historic class on top of this historic season. We lost some of our best commits and missed on others we were confident in.

The top recruiting classes come the year AFTER you win the title...not the year of. The last number one class LSU had was the year after we won the title in 07...08 class which made the 2011 team

Admins on the board are wacking legit threads just asking for an update, apparently there is a strong melt today!
The best part, we have a team of transfers and 2 and 3 stars about to play for a chance to win a championship and people are fixated on these star ratings.

You can't force kids to go where you think they should go. They have family and ties to areas and want to keep some state pride about themselves as well. We "missed out" on guys the last few years and are still where we want to be.
Coach up the players you get and put them in position to beat the others who went elsewhere.

As long as you are consistently near the top 5 then you'll have the talent. Rest is up to development, scheme, and the players' effort.

Should be #1. Why are some of you okay with good enough? Quit saying next year about the WR situation. Are we going to be hurting for WRs any time soon? No. Would it be nice to have two 5 Star WRs waiting for their chance? Hell yes. Teams like Alabama and OSU constantly stockpile more and more depth which is why they’re always among the best teams in the country. Maybe myself and others have overreacted but I don’t understand how some of you aren’t upset and disappointed with how today has gone.

With how recruits are rated and them working out in the end, a top 5 finish could very well end up being the best in a class.
