From the SEC recruiting board

Fwiw Jordan just sent this out on social media a couple of hrs ago.

The pull to stay home is serious with guys like this. I’m sure they are selling him on setting him up for the next 40 yrs if he can’t or doesn’t make it to the NFL ala Lattimore.

Which to be perfectly honest would sway me of I were him.

Go to USCe and if all works as expected make millions in the NFL.
Get an injury and don’t- hometown school will take care of you.

Clowney’s number. Now all they need is Steve Spurrier.

He was actually at the MBB along with his wife Jeri Saturday while Jordan was there.

We were a far cry from confident until this past weekend but with what he's sent out on social media, what we've heard from certain other player's moms who were with Mama Burch over the weekend, what ppl on our 247 site as far as insiders have apparently heard from LSU's 247 insiders, what we've heard leaking from sources at Hammond and from Muschamp himself...he is absolutely a Gamecock.

False hope.

He's been commited since December.

He is so committed to USC that he took an unofficial visit to LSU on his own dime.

It's a group ceremony.

It doesn't matter if it is a group or an individual ceremony. The fact of the matter is his mom, his uncle James, and his grandmother Burch all want him to play at LSU. Per his uncle James, Jordan also wants to play for LSU badly and gets very excited when he talks about playing at LSU.

Wait, people actually believe this?

Who's alter are you? Are you Uncle Burch?

That response by Burch doesn't say he's signing with South Carolina. It just says that wherever he's going, he's signing with his other teammates. And the one teammate he wanted to play with at South Carolina was the coaches son and he's not going to South Carolina. So both sides seem to have hope, but I can't believe he's choosing LSU with Muschamp standing in front of him.

And we'd actually welcome the discussion on our board. It's nice to be able to discuss with the team we're competing against for a recruit facts and speculation on both sides surrounding said recruit.

I agree with this. It's good to hear input from the other team's fans as long as they aren't flaming, or even gloating, or just being a dick.

I think this is an alter trolling our board. I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says.

There was a thread on here last week. I clicked on his moniker and went back and read all of his posts. He seemed pretty legit to me.

I mean he wasn't a polished individual by no means. He just seems like a genuine dude to me.

I mean it's kind of strange that all of a sudden he pops up out of nowhere to start talking about Jordan Burch liking LSU and then stuff with Jordan Burch just starts happening.

Now I can understand why some people would doubt him, but nonetheless, I happen to believe he is genuine.

I think you have the chicken and the egg mixed up here. Things started to heat up with Burch AND THEN Uncle James showed up.

I just feel bad for the kid. The peak of his athletic career will be his commitment to that dead end university

I understand the pull of staying home, but damn - it sucks for him that his home is in SC

He mentioned way before it even happened Muschamp's son was not going to sign with them either or at least he implied it. Maybe he's a troll and got that information from pay sites who knows.

I think the kids "handlers" (whomever they may be) have been using LSU as the leverage to exact ALL demands from USC. They know Muschamp is DESPERATE at this point and is hanging by a thread at USC. There were probably some promises of "benefits" made just before signing day causing him to commit. His signature, though, was the proverbial gun to USC's head to make sure the promises were kept. When they either weren't, or the family realized they could exact a little more by holding off on the signing, they took a trip down to Baton Rouge just to let USC/Muschamp know they were deadly serious about potentially going elsewhere.

If you don't think these kids and their families don't know EXACTLY what kind of commodities they are in the world of high stakes recruiting at SEC schools, then I have a few magic beans to sell you. I think he ultimately signs with USC. But not before he ultimately made sure Will did everything short of bending over and spreading his butthole to get him there.
