Strictly speaking, ALL recruits have a 50/50 chance of going to one school or another. There are only two options:
Either they go, or they don't.

Well, you, my dear, are vey confident, while we are not. So after you sign him (as you should since it's his neighborhood school and all his buddies go there) please don't come back here and pretend it's some kind of upset or big accomplishment. Choosing LSU would be quite unusual given the facts.

If that's true then why has no USC insiders said he gave them their commitment? It would be reported and shutdown immediately. I find this hard to believe...unless that changed recently. Link?
I'm pretty sure this is a down to the wire decision and neither staff knows where he's going yet.

It's really hard to get a read on these SC fans. I can't tell if they are actually 100% confident, or if they just want it so bad that they're projecting 100% confidence.
We were a far cry from confident until this past weekend but with what he's sent out on social media, what we've heard from certain other player's moms who were with Mama Burch over the weekend, what ppl on our 247 site as far as insiders have apparently heard from LSU's 247 insiders, what we've heard leaking from sources at Hammond and from Muschamp himself...he is absolutely a Gamecock.
Does it mean it'll happen? Of course not. But knowing what I do about Burch and how he was raised, he will stick by his word. I think he comes here as he commited to do and if it isn't what he thought it would be or if Muschamp does get canned and he isn't a fan of the next staff we put in place, he'll take advantage of the transfer portal and end up with y'all.
Wish him the best no matter what he does. He's a great kid and athlete.

Never planned to. I made it really clear in the "Why would Burch choose South Carolina" thread the last thing I'm here to do is troll. It's impossible to have any kind of rational discussion on the SEC recruiting board without it dissolving into a clusterfrick of a shitstorm. And ppl from teams who really have nothing to contribute and no reason to even take part in the discussion except to troll are all up in the threads over there.

This is the most likely chain of events IMO, and wouldn’t be bad for him at all. He’d get to honor his hometown commitment and still end up playing at a top tier football program (no offense intended for USCe).

No, I'm saying they're confident because he didn't give USC a commitment after his visit.
He's been commited since December.

The fact he's doing a ceremony gives me a lot of hope.
Posted on 2/3/20 at 11:13 am to The Pirate King
Where did you hear that?
Posted on 2/3/20 at 11:14 am to Carolina_Girl
If he was sticking to his word he wouldn’t have payed for the trip to come here. It wasn’t an OV. Spare me oh LSU payed for the trip. Facts are facts. He came here and the staff layed it out for him. Just won a NC. State of the art facilities. If he doesn’t come to LSU I’ll be surprised.

It's a group ceremony. With all of the players at Hammond signing that are playing collegiate ball. It isn't just Jordan exclusively. Jordan did a Q&A while he was on his visit to LSU with SECbias on Instagram. One of the questions asked of him was by an LSU fan wanting to understand why he hadn't signed when he commited to us. This was his reply:

If you’re looking for people here to jump on your bandwagon you’ve come to the wrong place.
This is the place LSU fans come to talk about recruits LSU wants.
We don’t want fans from opposing teams here telling us why we aren’t getting certain recruits?
Of course we know our chances are slim, but it gives us joy and entertainment to hold out hope that maybe a surprise will commit to LSU.
It’s happened many times in the past.
How would you like if LSU fans went to the South Carolina recruiting board and in every thread posted what you are posting here?
Can you understand why opposing fans aren’t wanted here? Understand why they made the SEC Recruiting Board?

I’ll be glad when Wednesday is over.

Dude. This is called a discussion. A rational discussion.
And we'd actually welcome the discussion on our board. It's nice to be able to discuss with the team we're competing against for a recruit facts and speculation on both sides surrounding said recruit.
Sorry you dont feel the same way.

My only hope at this point is that the staff knows where he's going already so they can focus their attention accordingly.

Here’s some factual talking for you. Your program is shite. If Burch decides to go there, that’s fine, but he will be playing a lot of 11:00 AM games on SECnetwork2 channel.

Thanks for the perspective from over that way. We are all just anxious and hoping for the best. Not sure if you visit this board often but if not, don’t let the replies get to you. I appreciate how you’ve contributed to the discussion. Hope you’re 100% wrong, obvs, but welcome to the board.

We want the money back that Fournette raised by auctioning his jersey.
Or did Clemson take that from y’all too?
Just messing with you. The kid is going to be great wherever he goes. If he chooses SC, I wish him well.
