I think his mother played at Tulane and then in the WNBA for a bit. Because of the Louisiana/LSU connection, the staff has been on him for a long time. It would have been tough to see him go elsewhere. If you want a comp on the current team, he's a player with a similar skill-set to Jalen Reed. 6'10, a bit thin, but a guy that is comfortable on the perimeter.

beating Bama, ARK and TX is a big deal. All three have had a top 5 class within the last 2 cycles.
chose the Tigers over a final group of Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

Not too sure what this means. You should be excited to get anybody in the top 100. For comparison:

Tremont Waters (54)
These are just a few names that come to mind. Anybody within the top 100 generally has a high upside in potential.
