Well he better find a big replacement because this a big loss regardless how you slice it. He had lots of potential.

I remember he was one of many players listed as a "steal from the MLB draft" due to his SR HS injury. You like him more than I did. 9.20 ERA in 27 IP, 40 K which is great, 27 BB which is hideous. A pitcher can't win giving up 1 BB per IP. The word "potential" is becoming one of my least favorite words in sports. I don't give a damn about "potential". I give a damn about another word that starts with "p"...that word is performance. He simply was a poor performer. MAYBE he will improve or maybe he won't. This season he flat out proved he wasn't ready for prime time.
