Williams is basically a walk-on.

If you count him, count Demas.

I have to agree with lester here. Williams counts as a back. They played him for a reason.

They trusted him in pass pro.
I wonder if they are worried about someone not making the cut.

Even if they don't get citizen they should be able to grab a good high school back.

People knocking Cain and saying he hasn't done much since coming out of high school, can you same guys explain to me what has Emery done since high school?
I would say when healthy he has done a lot better than Emery.

I’m trying to remember what happened and why he didn’t end up at here in the first place.

If his profile is accurate he went to school in denton texas then to IMG academy.

So it doesnt seem like he spent hs years in baton rouge.

Each of their "good" seasons are pretty comparable. Not really a very significant difference statistically.

Watched him live twice this year. He was banged up slightly. His carries started to disappear as the year went on. It seemed like they would just run a toss whenever he was in, I felt like he didn’t get a fair shake in the play calling. I’m thrilled to have this kid

Like Stetson Bennett? If a walk earns his way into the rotation, and gets a scholarship, he should be counted. Demas is a guy who got a scholarship because we had extra scholarships. That’s different.

Why should we be excited about getting a Penn State bench warmer?

Everyone bitching about Cain in here cracks me up if we don’t get Citizen then we are very poor at the running backs position for an SEC team. I like Kiner and Goodwin but not wowed then let’s discuss Emery. Emery has played like 4 games total in 3 years and couldn’t even make the grades last year. We need a big back and right now Cain is it so suck it buttercups. Welcome Aboard Mr. Cain

Brian Kelly wants at least one back that is going to get what the line blocks every time. He may not break any long gains or turn nothing into something, but if the o line gives him enough space for 4 yards he's gonna get 4 yards. The guys we have on the roster now may turn a 4 yd hole into a 65 yd td or they could turn it into a 2 yard loss because they were trying to turn it into a 65 yd td.

He's kid from Louisiana that was highly rated out of high school. He wants to come home. You obviously are not paying attention to what this new staff is doing. Hint: THINK LOUISIANA KIDS.

Cain is a big clue that Citizen is not coming.

Right now there is no one in the RB room that has emerged as a consistent producer. We need as many options as we can get until someone emerges as the alpha.

Of course the thing we need most is solid OL play and it looks like we are starting to add those elements now, but it's going to take time.
