Hey brother, remember Wade's rant against ULL after the game? Blast from the past, one of his most memorable press conferences.

The fire that man had is what this program has been missing. I reapplied for season tickets again for next season before he was officially announced. I let them go a couple years ago when I just couldn't watch the product on the court any longer. Hopefully my ticket request gets me back in the building again this fall.

Understatement.

You’re not the only one. The bolded part is a risky statement to make on here though. Some “fans” don’t like when people express that sentiment.
Fun times ahead though. The OOC schedule has me pumped.

I cant Imagine Ruzik not starting over Dioubate.
I could see Niang starting over Bashir, but Bashir getting good minutes.

Ugochukwu & Bashir turned down backup roles at more established programs b/c they wanted starting spots. Niang is rumored to have gotten $5 million+, he's not coming off the bench. Dioubate was a Top 50 transfer and a Top 100 player this past season; he didn't come to LSU to come off the bench. After Niang, Ruzik is the best international player in this class.
PG - Ugo
SG - Bashir
SF/PF - Dioubate
PF - Niang
C - Ruzik

Are you saying we arent getting Luis? Because Luis certainly starts and plays more than Dioubate, if it comes to that.
Top 100 doesn't mean shite. He's a good player but watch the videos of the international guys. They all look better.
Isn't Niang 6-5? Yes, he jumps out of the gym, but he's not playing PF when we have 2 7' guys and several 6-7 to 6-9 guys.
Having watched all of them to some degree..
Madar and Bashir are probably a push, and I could see either getting the start. PG could go to several different guys.
Santos, Dessert and Ruzik are all better than Dioubate, and I could be wrong, but I don't think it's even close. I do think Dioubate gets solid minutes at SF/PF though.

Official announcement
Are there any other officially signed players besides Bashir?

Looks like the announcements are gonna start coming in. Also it seems like RJ Luis has made it to campus per his ig story

Officially, no NCAA eligibility determinations have been made for Luis or any of the internationals.

This would be my starting 5 if Luis isn't approved (likely)
PG - Madar
SG - Bashir
SF - Niang
PF - Dioubate
C - Dessert/ Ruzik
If by some miracle they get Luis, I think he is the point which would be insane.

I like how you separated the type of player base between offense and defense. Interesting concept.
Also, who’s the serial down voter on this page??
