cant understand why people hate our winningest basketball coach in almost 20 years

Even the games we lost under wade were still enjoyable compared to matt mcmahon's tenure

I would say it is probably an NC State fan who made the edits. But given the amount of hate some "LSU fans" (who apparently just woke up from a 4 year nap this spring) have for Wade, I'd say the culprit is likely someone pretending to be an LSU fan.

Alt26 I've always enjoyed your posts on men's basketball (some of my opinions have come from your posts)

Glad we have some great, knowledgable LSU fans

Do you think everybody but Luis will be eligible? Do you think Will Wade could take us to a final 4 down the line? 2nd question is for a friend who thinks we cant do any better than what we did under mcmahon

Don't know the answer to that. All I can say is that I don't think Wade would put all of his roster building/construction eggs in one basket without being confident he will get a favorable result. To think otherwise would be ignoring his entire career as a HC. I have strong doubts Luis will be eligible. The rest are more likely.

I suppose anything is possible. Hell, John Brady brought LSU to a Final Four. While I wouldn't predict/bet Wade will do so, I have more confidence that he can than I did with Johnson, Jones, and McMahon.

Considering being the second worst program in the SEC (cumulatively) over the span of 4 would qualify as "better than we did under McMahon", I'd say it is a pretty strong bet Wade can reach that "lofty" bar.

I fully realize that it's "our turn" to have a home game in the acc challenge, but can you realistically see ANY other match up than LSU at NC st in this year's challenge? I'm sure that some teams have gone back to back home or away in this event.

I can't imagine espn wouldn't make that happen.

It’s so nice to finally be relevant from a scheduling standpoint again. A game against Gonzaga will be nothing but good exposure for the program.

I’m so glad the nightmare of the last four years is finished. Terrible on-court performance, terrible scheduling, terrible recruiting, a coaching staff that was a joke, broken record press conferences offering no solutions and/or ideas, portal misjudgments, stale rotations, blown leads and a sub 25% conference winning percentage. Yet you STILL had some “fans” that were willing to stretch this into a fifth year (including some in media frighteningly enough) and still saying we were led by a “good coach.” Absolutely mind blowing.

Woodward should be charged with criminal negligence.
