Congrats coach o. Let’s rock.

If I was cww… run down to corpus and make it known. Then, go to Shreveport or Little Rock, after that…..Nola.

Couple guard pickups needed.

Is there a possibility of Robert Miller coming back?

Also, how many spots are left to fill?

I think RJ Luis might be a long shot to be cleared. It will likely come down to technicalities in the rules or loopholes

Don’t know about the international players, but it seems like the NCAA wants to fight on at least some of them - not that they’ll win. But admittedly, I don’t know enough about the rules to speak definitively one way or the other

I haven’t heard anything about new international players being considered for roster spots.
Anyone know where tGeneral is concentrating to fill out the rest of the roster?
Portal? - slim pickings
More overseas?
High School early enrollees? - slim pickings
Rob Miller or Ron Zipper exiting the portal?

Why don’t you list Ahmad Hudson on the commits list?

Miller visited Miami recently but I guess nothing came of it. There were rumors he got into some type of legal trouble at the end of the season and that’s the reason no one is touching him but don’t know how true that is. He’s one of the only few bigs with power conference experience left on a pretty bad bigs market so his availability is puzzling.

Hudson can't enroll till January
At that point, there is no time to get him acclimated to college hoops with SEC play starting
He's a longshot to help significantly this season.

Why don’t you take the time and read the thread instead of rapid firing twenty questions that have been discussed already

I don’t have the time to go through almost 100 pages. If it’s not in the first 10 or last couple then I’ll just ask the question.

If someone points out what page it’s on in the post, then I’ll go read that

gonzaga might be the best non conference opponent we have faced in years, correct?

Hopefully there is a return game, likely in NOLA, as part of that deal.

The Acrisure event field isn't exactly great, but when you combine it with games vs. Gonzaga, (purportedly) Houston, and the (at the moment TBD) ACC opponent (at home), this is shaping up to be a stacked OOC schedule...similar to what Alabama has been doing under Oats. Hopefully we can get a great "home" game in Nov/Dec.

Regardless, it is a breath of fresh air to know LSU will be playing interesting games in Nov/Dec, instead of beating up on the SWAC, SoCo, Southland conferences before getting butt-fu**ed by the one really good team they play. If nothing else, we should have a better idea of how good this team is entering SEC play as opposed to the false hope McMahon's "gaudy" OOC records provided.

its such a fresh of breath air to be confident in the LSU men's team

yes we beat smu last year, but that was our only "good" win

If win 2 out of 3 of gonzaga, houston, and the acc-sec challenge, things are looking really good resume wise

To be fair, Texas Tech was good last season.

On another note, it looks like the handful of goobers on the board have found Wikipedia given the current status of the entry about Wade:

quote:

Frank “The Snake” Williams Wade (born November 26, 1982) is an American college basketball coach who is currently in his second stint as the head men's basketball coach at LSU, a position he held from 2017 to 2022. He previously served as head coach at Chattanooga, VCU, McNeese, and NC State.

quote:

LSU (second stint) 2026–present

On March 26, 2026, Wade agreed to return to LSU as their head coach, replacing Matt McMahon.[22]. He has signed a number of former pro players for the 2026 season which has lead to controversy.
