Should be finished today. Whether they plan to announce it or not is another question I guess.
Sounds like they’re also trying to get Madar over the finish line.

I think I read (Probably on here lol) that 7 mill was BS.
It was around 5 but a portion of that was to pay his current buyout.

Don't disagree there, hoping the main solution is RJ Luis or Ryan Hampton.

Not sure if I read it here or on X; but I think it was $7m for 2 years. So $3.5m for this year + $1.5m buyout seems accurate.
eta: Montero always seemed like a pipe dream to me. Especially once it came out that his preference is to stay in Europe. But stealing the top player on a Euroleague title contender would be insane. Montero has scored 16 and 29 in back to back elimination games for them, with a marble game tonight.
If he does make it to campus; he would be an immediate top candidate for the Wooden Award.

I know nothing about all of this....but from what Im gathering here we can basically rule out Montero & Graves.

Per Shea, Wade flew into Chicago yesterday for the combine. Not counting out the general until it’s done.
Edit: Also Duke is not in the equation, I promise. They haven’t been for some time now

I wouldn't rule out Graves at all. He didn't test great at the combine. Will be a matter of whether teams are guaranteeing him they'll take him in 1st round if available.

Understandably Graves wants to start his NBA career if the pick meets his expectations. Time will tell.

Man a lot of these early mocks that were released after the combine have him around 20-22. Just a quick glance and I found 1 out of 5 with him falling to the 2nd. That one had him as the 2nd pick of the 2nd round.
I hope we can get him and its still a little early but as of right now its not looking good for him returning to college.

The advanced analytics love him, and he projects very well. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go Top 20.

Yep.
One of the comps I saw for him was Draymond Green. I get it from the everything man stand point. And ability to facilitate from different parts of the court. But Draymond is a physical freak. Now I don't remember his combine stats but that is extremely high praise unless they are saying he is a problem child that will have trouble staying in games.

First scheduling news to drop. Apparently High Point had around $5 million for their roster this season. Will likely be back in the tourney for a third straight year.
