There's some talk that LSU could be involved with Jean Montero. Would be the biggest acquisition of the offseason. No idea if legit. Would be first team all SEC kind of player.

Wade said today that most of our roster is filled, the bulk of his budget is on the top 7-8 guys. Heavy into players from Europe. The interview is on Tiger droppings worth a listen.

Yep, I've seen enough of Wade's work to know we will be highly competitive with him.
Especially without the CONSTANT drumbeat from all the hypocritical idiots like Gay Bilas, Prick Vitale, etc.. who KNOW how the sausage was made in basketball recruiting pre NIL but gave their golden boy coaches a pass anyway.
They rode Wade's arse all the time, and really stepped it up when we were about to get a big time commitment.
We're gonna find out what Wade can do without the dorks nipping at his heels incessantly.

That ain't gonna change. Haters gonna hate. Now they'll hate him because he left the ACC after one season. They already hating on him for that, saying he let down NC State and the players, even when you have to start every year almost from scratch recruiting your current players just as much as the new players. There's no such thing as loyalty in college sports with NIL and the transfer portal. It's going to be year-to-year every year, and I like his approach this year. Get all big rangy professionals. Full grown men, and bypass overpaying for the small school guys trying to move up. The NCAA created this mess, and tGeneral has found a loophole to exploit the system.

Outside of Mo Dio, no one is locked up. I think they feel good about Graves and Niang, but they felt good about McNeil.
They probably have a few guys they are back-burning right now - Ugo & Bashir, and some of the internationals.
Can they get Hampton to commit and reclassify?
Can they pull Jean Montero?
If they are going to focus NIL on 7 or 8 guys then you can start to see what's gong on when 12-15 names are floating around. Montero, Hampton, Graves, Dio, Niang, and 2 or 3 solid guys off the bench
