He’s 6’7”, so I hope we don’t plan to play him at center. But I guess right now, as he’s supposedly the only guy on our roster, he might have to play all positions at once. If bugs bunny can do it, I bet he can, too

Biggest WW fan and supporter out there. It’s still frustrating to have 1 player after 16 days with majority of the top transfer targets off the board. No one has any info at all

It’s been mentioned multiple times now that LSU has a handful of commits, quite literally by every LSU writer online.

It’s kind of hilarious the lengths people are going to to act like this is ok. We are clearly missing.
I have no option but ride with Wade and hope..but we have a random 1 commit then no one else, then losing a stud FR PG who was last to enter the portal and said he was open to coming back, to TAMU. This is shitty

I don’t know why everyone isn’t aggravated. I know Wade has a track record, but this situation is different. The portal has closed, so we have to sign from existing entrants, unless the 5 for 5 rules to allow 5th years. We need to sign about 10 more. There are only about 5 of the top 100 high school recruits and about 45 of the top 250 transfers uncommitted. We’re competing against about 50 good programs to sign 10 of the remaining top 50 players. We’re in a terrible situation to convince people to sign with us without overpaying.

It’s hard to see a path to great success in Y1 at this rate. (dude mentioned Sweet 16 earlier lol).
At the end of the day, there has to be players to sign, and you have a whole roster to fill out. It’s not exactly the best position to be in.

Judging by the fact all of the people with connections insist we are in a great spot, I don’t see any reason to worry. By all accounts we have 3-4 great pieces. So now we need another starter and some depth pieces?

Unlucky and the reliable On3 guys have been saying Wade is killing it for nearly two weeks now. They were completely spot on for Lane on the recruiting trail, not sure why I have any reason to doubt them now.
It’s also just hilarious doom slop to think Will Wade isn’t going to put out a tournament team next season.

Think about all the little nuances that go into roster building, with roles and skills and size. You have to find these things with finite options, under a time constraint. Then have to go play in the SEC with an “expansion” team. Calling that doom slop is wild.

The discourse around this program is so stupidly toxic. We got people legitimately thinking that LSU won't have a full roster and we have the other side saying that having 1 signee at this time is just a 4D chess masterclass from Wade. The truth likely lies in the middle.

That's bullshite. You obviously haven't followed basketball recruiting the last couple years. Literally all the top players have agents that make everything public so they can get the highest offer. Being a silent commit would do the complete opposite of that.

I haven’t seen an answer to why he wouldn’t announce these silent commitments. Until they have their names on a commitment document, I think those players could be taking offers and increasing their demands. Also, are all of these players sworn to secrecy? Are they conspiring to shock us? I know we’ll sign a full roster, but a roster of what caliber is the big unknown.
