Shea Dixon reporting that we will be involved with Aiden Sherrell. #6 overall player in the portal and #2 center. LINK

It would be but all these top guys show interest lists of LSU, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc.
Its great to be in that mix but it feels like a longshot.

Wade has been in those battles before at LSU. Last year he was able to sign Darrion Williams at NC State (5th rated transfer). He won't win all of the battles. But he's proven he can win enough of them.

It does feel crazy to be back on these top players’ list with how the past few years went. But nothing is a long shot with Wade and money lol. He almost brought two top 10 players to NC state last offseason. He secured Darrion Williams (ranked 6) and Haggerty (ranked 5) bailed on him last minute.

You have to remember: we have a real coach now.

Niiice, McNeil would be a big get. Wade seems to be after a lot of players that can drain it from 3

I'd LOVE to get used to it. It just feels funny/unfamiliar at the moment

Thought it was Tyrell Ward for a minute. They appear to have similar games.

I see that Garwey Dual from McNeese is in the portal, along with Larry Johnson. What are your thoughts on their possible fit at LSU?

He also has to remember that we're top 20 (we were top 15 before the McMahon error) all time in signing McDonald's AAs, and our all time team would be favored over ANY school except for UNC and UCLA.
LSU has a long history of signing elite talent in basketball. Dale, Brady, Johnny, and Wade have signed plenty of elite talent at LSU. Hell, event Trent's LAZY arse signed McDonald's AA Johnny O'Bryant. Before them we had Petit and the Pistol sign with us.
We just have trouble hiring and KEEPING top coaches.

Garwey could be more of a complementary rotation piece. Could make for a great ball handler off the bench and brings good defensive value. Larry would be more of a higher upside, star potential guy. Will always be a question of how well he would translate from the southland to a high major conference. His athleticism is crazy though

Then you would be wrong and lose

Jamier Jones may be one to watch. Haven’t heard anything but he really liked LSU out of high school and best friends with J. reece
