What the hell are you talking about? I have no problem with Will Wade being the coach, I thought he did a great job his first tenure and hopefully will take the program to new heights. I have stated on many occasion the NCAA were Gestapo Bastards in the way he was treated while allowing K and Cal and the other media darlings to do far worse over a longer period.
Its amazing how some of you pull shite out of thin air. You cannot find one post where I was critical of Will Wade, nor have I wanted another coach over him. I have stated I was fine with LSU making a coaching change if that was decided. If you are the superfan you purport to be then you would acknowledge the NCAA investigation and severe injuries the past two seasons were signiificant factors in the ultimate results. Regardless, here we are and I support the current coach as I do every LSU coach.

Damn dude, just ignore him. It's just a message board, so why do you let him rattle you so bad. Both of you get so upset that you ruin topics that people come here to get info. If either of you two ever got off a bus at marine corp boot camp, don't think y'all could take it.

There's speculation that Niang's deal with LSU is for 2 years, but several recent reports in the Euro media say the Cavs expect Niang to be part of their system after one potential season at LSU.
Beyond that, International student orientation at LSU starts on the 14th.

All I've seen is a few tweets saying we have 8/9 guys on campus.
Then I think sham posted the Euro insider on Trilly Donovan's discord said something similar.
So I think it's safe to assume they are on campus. Then I'm just speculating if we've gone through that trouble they are probably at least enrolled.
The NCAA is such a shite show right now lmao.

If they are on campus and enrolled as students, can they practice with the team even if the NCAA hasn't gotten off their collective hineys? or does it have to be unofficial practice, i.e. in the rec center?

Unless ther ehas been a rule change there has been an official NCAA rule which designates a certain date as the start of official team practices sometime in October. Some teams would have midnight madness practice open to the public. I believe there has been a modification where there can be individaul workouts with a coach on a limited basis but no full teams until the stipulated date.

Not sure who is thinking we won't field a team. The "issue" will be installing a system, team chemistry and conditioning. Teams are already playing a lot of basketball together.

Yes. But despite the fact they are all 22-25 years old and have been playing high level D-1 basketball or pro ball for several years, the fact that they haven't been practicing since last month and hanging out at the water park together means they probably can't become a good team in three months.
We'll soon all be longing for those halcyon days of hoping to get that big SEC win in late February to avoid a last place finish
