Also, I still think Lsu would be better next season with Chest & V Miller and that the current roster lacks athleticism and defense. Getting Washington from A&M would have been huge for next seasons team.

I agree with this. Miller has a chance to be really good. Chest is a great guy to have off the bench/spot starter.

Cook was an absolute cancer and lazy AF. So many posters here adore Louisiana kids.

We just went 3-15 and looked like shite…yet some of you think we will be worse. I guess all we can do is bookmark posts and laugh in the future

But Chest wants starter minutes and significant NIL…because of TD posters. Corey Chest can barely dribble a basketball and he sure as Hell cannot shoot. He wanted tons of money…TAMU has passed, Bama has passed. So I guess he goes to OM? He has made it clear he has been visiting teams but gone nowhere

I think we're still out looking for 2 more starters personally (3 total players, for now).

Hopefully. I have a feeling we are going to be disappointed.

Dioubate would be a top tier get for us. could give us minutes at the 3 and 4 spot and probably have a chance at leading us in scoring.

Just reading random tweets on Twitter though they are saying he wants to move back home... But that's why we got the NIL bags!

Diioubate would be a nice upgrade for Chest. He fouls a lot, which is what limits his minutes, but if he can learn to play without fouling, he would be really good.

I went to the preseason open practice and I got there real early and chest was practicing shots. he made almost none, he is so bad. he would miss badly, look frustrated, slow down, dribble the ball and concentrate, and then CLANK miss again. and again. I think I saw him make like 2 of 20. and they were very bad looking shots.

he has a very long way to go to be useful for any team other than a defensive stopper/rebounder. I dunno how many teams have room for a player like that on the roster.

very hard worker though, and incredible athlete. maybe should join trey'dez in the TE room

Chest has 3 years of eligibility to figure it out. I think the redshirt year was incredibly smart for him. His next stop should be in a winning program where he gets 15-20 minutes per game. Ironically he would have the best chance to shine at LSU.

Come back Mr. Chest!

He wants nil money and starter mins because of td posters?

I think that is why mcmahon told him to leave. He is a decent bench option. Nothing more imo

Is this a joke that’s going over my head.

If we don't have solid big men in the paint all those guards will not be enough in SEC. This is not Mo Valley conference

With collins in the portal, we clearly need to pick one up. But I don’t think we are substantially better than last year at this point at guard/wing unless the ncaa caves and lets Carter come back.

I saw improvement in Givens the last few games as far as physicality . That’s one thing he needs to work on. And I think the Quarterman comparison is spot on. Freshmen can take a big jump from yr 1 to 2. Our TO numbers went down as his minutes increased. Needs to work on his shot and taking contact going to the goal but there is potential there. King is also a combo guard and can play 1 or 2 so we will have options at PG.

There's a VERY SIMPLE way for McMahon to shut us right the FLUCK on up:

Perform as well or better than our previous coach did at LSU, and all will be A OK!!!!

Maybe Collins is a sign Sutton had a good visit? Idk feels like he should have committed if that was the case.

At this point, I probably should assume you are trolling, but here goes. My comment on Cook was specifically about the transfer portal rankings and not a comment on his time at Lsu.

I said before the season that LSU would be better this year but would probably end up with a worse SEC record. In the end, this season's team ended up rating out about the same overall as last year's team. Last year's team was better offensively, and this year's team was better defensively. The major change was the SEC was better overall.

Next year's team looks to be significantly better offensively but worse defensively. Maybe that changes with some new portal additions. The SEC will be loaded again. Please do bookmark for your viewing pleasure.

If Cam Carter can come back. I still hope we go for Chandler Jackson, much better player than his stats show. Experienced guard who plays good team defense and has solid fundamentals. Just isn't much of a 3 point shooter or rebounder.

Do we have a backup plan if we don't land Sutton? How are we feeling about him? Saw he's been getting linked to Nebraska more and more recently.
