How much does Ole Miss's win last night set us back, in terms of both players and coaches?
If you had a chance to pick anywhere to play and you could either go to Ole Miss, who is going further than EVER before in college football for the 1st time ever without a head coach and good chance most of the team leaves and takes advantage of this opportunity
OR
You can play for a guy who built Ole Miss from scratch into this powerhouse but now has more opportunities, a bigger bank, better recruiting in state, more history, more national titles, more…
Ole Miss can win it all and it won’t change a thing

None what so ever.

I agree, but that was wasn't really my question. I'm asking how much this additional week (or more) of delays sets us back in terms of coaches (still preoccupied with Ole Miss business) and in terms of players generally, whether or not they are currently at Ole Miss.

It sets LSU’s budget back another $250k. Kiffen is in the driver seat!
Still is baffling that LSU’s contractually signed Offensive coaches are running Ole Miss’ offense and LSU isn’t being monetarily compensated.

That's a great point, Unchained. I wonder if that was even discussed when he was granted those 250K bonuses.

All we have is a TBA list. Ii looks like we are showing up pretty late to the game. We need at least 20 good SEC type starters to replace that long list leaving. 8 or 9 quality OL .Where are they? Lane's been on the phone for 3 weeks and not 1 commitment yesterday.

Most of the studs want to take their visits and meet their potential new coaches/teammates.
Same impatient clowns who during the coaching search said "f it just hire Frank. This is taking too long!!!"

The number LSU players entering the portal has has ballooned to the point where I’m really getting nervous.

This is much less busy and much easier to read.
Now….if there were only 27 transfers in.

I mean lsu signed them to those contracts - the ones that don’t provide for the compensation you mentioned - so it’s not like we’re getting screwed over or something

This transfer class for LSU will feed families…
Isn’t that what college football is really all about…helping kids to feed families.
Print the shirts.

Not sure how many RBs we'll take, but Chris Johnson Jr. from SMU just entered the portal. Ran for about 500 yards and 7.1 YPC this season
