the tallest CB in NFL history was 6'4". He's borderline too tall.

Speed and height you can’t teach and is scary. I hope he can tackle and put on a few pounds.

Get him on the Brad/Bo diet and turn that man into Kam Chancellor. So much physical talent.

I’m sure you know more than all the coaches recruiting him

Should we list all the LSU DBs recruited and drafted that were coached by Raymond?

It’s a very long list and didn’t drop off until Ed O went off the deep end following 2019.

Israel Mukuamu from Parkway in Bossier was a beast for South Carolina playing CB at 6’4. He plays safety now for the Cowboys.

before Ed O's bullshite, we were turning in top DB hauls. And also, if you paid attention to the defense the last 2 years of his tenure, the fault lies mostly on the way Ed wanted the defense ran.

2019 class
Stingley 5 star #1 CB
Hampton 4 star #14 CB (inside top 100)
Ray Jones 4 star #12 ATH
Jay Ward 3 star
Cordale Flott 3 star

2020 class
Eli Eicks 5 star #1 CB
Dwight Mcglothern 4 star #20 CB (top 210 recruit)

2021 class
Sage Ryan 5 star #2 S
Demarius McGhee 4 star #13 CB

He got two #1 CBs, #2 safety, 3 more top 20 CBs (2 top 15), another 4 star CB, and 2 high potential 3 star CBs in 3 straight classes. I found out this year that the kid that ended up going to Clemson had been training with a former Clemson CB for a long time before he committed to Clemson. It's like a guy holding on to a Louisiana recruit until the last minute when his relationship with the other school wins out in the end.

If i used JUST 247's rankings, not their composite, he got 4 top 100 overall recuits at CB in a 3 year period, plus a top 100 recruit at safety.

If he gets Pickett, LSU ends up with 2 top 6 CBs this year. If there is any chance with Brew too, you're looking at a possible 3 top 6 CB commits. Next year unless the Ohio St transfers stay another year, LSU is looking at ONE four star CB on roster and three, 3 star CBs with good-great potential.

CR is very good at keeping the best instate dbs. Always has been. It’s the highly rated oos kids he struggles with. Eli Ricks also stated that he came to LSU because of CEO. He’ll find lower rated gems oos to make up for it. I’ll give him that.

Obviously want DBU to be back at DBU level but of all those players, who excelled and finished at LSU Stingley is the only one and he only did it his Freshman year. After that he was hurt and his last season was spotty.
Raymond has a lot to prove, needs to recruit and develop and not come in "2nd" for all the big guys.
