If we're looking at top 100 HS recruits remaining after the draft (I'm not counting any players taken in rounds 18-20 as flyers) based on Perfect Game's rankings and top SEC classes

LSU - 5 remaining (41, 64, 72, 83, 92)
Tennessee - 5 remaining (22, 30, 89, 92, 93)
Texas - 4 remaining (32, 47, 62, 81)
Arkansas - 3 remaining (71, 75, 77)
Vanderbilt - 1 remaining (46)
Texas A&M - 2 remaining (40, 69)
Miss St - 3 remaining (21, 36, 63)

2026 Catcher commit Masen Belding is playing collegiate summer ball with the Lincoln Potters in the Pacific Empire League this summer. Great experience builder playing against guys way older than him. It's a pretty good league, and they play against the Healdsburg Prune Packers, who are in the town I'd like to retire to.

Is there a RH outfield bat on the roster other than William Patrick?

Stanfield wasn't drafted

Cade Arrambide will start getting some LF reps in the Fall. Obviously if Stanfield is back you have no problem trotting your entire National Championship winning outfield back out there again.

Ideal scenario is Cade’s bat develops to the point where he needs to be in the everyday lineup, catches twice a weekend and then once at OF/DH.

A little LSU related- Pollard left Duke b/c they are remaining on the existing scholarship limit of 12.8, and that's why Jordan wanted no part of the job

Simply amazing they have done so well these last 8 years or so, given their tuition costs

He's going to be very selective about the job he takes because you can't go from a school fully committed to one that's half-assing it.

It's one of the reasons Vitello waited a while to take a HC job.

And it's part of why Elander and Cain also haven't taken HC jobs yet. It's not only that they're getting paid more as assistants than a lot opportunities would pay them as HCs.

Cade improved so much defensively from game 1, it’s going to be exciting to see him develop with another year working with Jordan. Serna is supposed to be a similar comp coming out of HS but a little further along.

I’m seeing 6 top 100 kids for Tenn. Are you not counting Nathan Eisfelder?

Edit: Wrong name

Well, let's see if they can keep it going. You wouldn't imagine they could do it, but if they can get the quality of kids that can pay their way "somehow", it could benefit them, without the roster restrictions of their competition.

Sort of the advantage that Vandy had going

I think you have to really love baseball to invest in itZ

duke’s success has meant 4 super regional appearance in the last 8 years.

that’s not exactly program altering. If they aren’t seeing a return I could see
them stepping back vs going heavily in.

I thought minor league rosters were contracting heavily

some of the signings are really weird between Moffett and Woods

How many total innings did Moffett throw in his college career? Less than 10? Lol

Do yall think Jared Jones is comparable to Evan Gattis if he were to start catching some again?
