There is an all star game being played right now that is streaming on MLBs website between Cape Cod players and MLB Draft League players. I can get it to work on the website, but not the app for some reason.
Anyway, here is the statcast link: LINK
Miguel Sime pitched first for the Draft League, got 3 groundouts and touched 100 mph.

I get the feeling Ashton Larson was one of Kendall’s fireworks.

A guy that barely played last year warrants fireworks? Nah man.

Does by July 1 mean they can’t enter tomorrow or tomorrow is the last day.

The problem is getting them to stick around if they don't play year 1
This. One thing Tennessee and LSU have in common is that they identify the handful of freshmen that will play. They play them a lot and then retain them. Outside of this select club it’s volatile.

Who is the last good player for us who didn’t show anything his freshmen year?

Real easy answer. Ethan Frey

I think that’s a fair answer but he still got more AB than Castillo, Ryan and Hogg combined.

This was a good podcast. He seems moderately confident LSU lands all of its signees with the exception of Fauske, Sime, Young, and Ebel.

Joe did a good breakdown on last years class as well, but I think he had Mikey Ryan as a definite sign and he ended up here (for a whopping year, but still). Will have to listen to this one today, thats some major major koolaid drinking if he thinks we land everyone from the class sans those 3, but I'd certainly take it
Edit - looks like he said Ebel he only puts at 40% chance he makes it here, said he wants to sign but maybe they dont come up with enough money for him.
