We can probably "suspend" this thread for a while. Looks like nothing good on the recruiting front will be happening for a while.
This class will end with a slew of JUCOs and transfers at this point IMO. We will be lucky to hold onto Bishop and Manning.

I think we will hold onto them, because LSU would have to have NCAA issues for their LOI to be voided, and that could take a long time to play out.
I agree that JUCO and transfers will rule the day, both regular and grad transfers. Possible some mid-level talent that has been backburnered may get a look now.
The two redshirts will be key and are almost like recruits at this point.
Depending on who returns from the current team, there is still a chance to be good next year and hope all this shite blows over to a strong 2020.
I mean, shite, Arizona has the No.1 class in the country right now for 2019.

In all seriousness, I would try to get Darryl Edwards to stay for next year.

When is the signing for basketball? Just curious if LSU is able to keep WW how much time he has to right the ship.

Anyone checked the NCAA Portal?
Alabama has four players in it including All-SEC freshman guard Kira Lewis.
How about Texas A&M, Arkansas and Vandy? Do they have any players or recruits who might be looking around.
Tyreek Smith ... was he interested in LSU before he signed with A&M?

Going to be tough to really read anything into the portal right now, you can go in and out. The new Bama coach's first job is to re-recruit Lewis, Petty, etc...

The Tigers need to look at AJ Cartwright from Shelbyville, TX for 2021. The Dragons won the 2A State Championship this year and he wants to play at LSU.

I'm going to guess the way this is going to work out is we'll end up getting on Jordan Wright from Dunham and Sebit Reath from Lee JC in Texas (Duop's little brother) and try to stop the bleeding with those two kids.
Wright has been waiting on LSU for his entire recruitment, and if we're not getting Quinones he might be the best available perimeter player. And Reath is 6-10 and 240 just like his brother was, and he averaged 13 and 10 this year while shooting 43 percent from 3, so he's pretty much exactly what Duop was. He gives you a role player in the post that you'll need.

macaoidh, who do you think will be their head coach? Wade or the field?

We should take Jordan Wright and redshirt him for a season

Let's try and get 10 scholarship players first.

Hell if I know.
If they dump Wade, I shudder to think what we would get and what kind of recruiting class they could put together starting in May.
And the idea Joe Alleva could make a competitive hire - in his FOURTH shot at it, just seems laughable to me. We'd be paying $4 million a year for Shaka Smart or Chris Collins at this rate.

Jahvon Quinnerly is transferring from Villanova...is he a take?

Saw this today, he’d be a great addition, 5* guard who can play either spot. He originally committed to Arizona then switched when the wire tap controversy started and he was mentioned on it. With us being involved and his reluctance to attend Arizona because of it do you think we’d have a chance at getting him if Wade returns?

We should def take Wop’s lil bro.

I've seen him play. He's not very good. I don't think he's an SEC player at all. However, we may need the depth so I'm not against it. He would be a good redshirt candidate if we could afford it.
He's really more of a 3 or stretch 4. Not nearly the player Duop was.

Offer another senior night.

Now that Musselman is (likely) headed to Arkansas, is it possible Edwards follows him there or maybe stays in Baton Rouge (assuming Waters gets drafted).
