LSU offered 2019 big man Qudus Wahab today. 6-11 235 Center from Northern Va. Ranked #73 in the country by 247 Sports. Syracuse, Clemson, UConn, Pitt, St John's have all offered. He is a double-double machine and averaged about 4 blocks per game last high school season. Solid upside. Runs the floor well. Only in the U.S. for two years. One to keep an eye on.

Man, Payne reminds me of Tyrus Thomas so much. Really long wingspan, athletic, and tough. I like Kira Lewis and Watford too, but would be a tough pull away from Bama & Auburn.

Wilson is a player and the best recruit in Louisiana this year. With the way Wade is recruiting though, he may not get an offer. It all depends on how this class shapes up and how many scholarships are available.

He is struggling a bit in EYBL this summer. Only shooting 20.7% from 3 (19 for 92) and that needs to be his bread and butter as a 6'1 combo guard. He is dominant when he gets to rim though as he's 73% from 2 point range. He's only averaging 1.9 assists per game so he's not really adding much value as a point man. I think he's definitely a wait it out type recruit. Might be a little overrated in the rankings currently, 247 actually him as a 3-star 164 overall, but other sites have him much higher so his composite is 4-star 125 overall.

Is anyone aware of any potential JUCO players we are recruiting for 2019?

Pure speculation here, but Duop Reath's younger brother is playing for Lee College just like Duop did. Sebit Reath who is 6'10, 200 pounds last season as a freshman. Didnt play much, averaged like 4 points, 3 boards a game, but will likely start this year.

I'd bet we are keeping our eye on him in case he blows up like Duop did. Very similar skillset to Duop too, can knock down a 3.

Avery Anderson. LINK
Also Cassuis Stanley LINK
I think Stanley is a longshot, but an extremely good athlete. Anderson is very high on LSU.
If LSU does what I hope and win a lot of games and go deep into the NCAA tournament, I believe Wade will bring in top 100 players year in and year out. I can't wait for BBall season!!!!

Do not see Wilson in this class regardless of timing or circumstance.
