Anyone remember when Kade Philips “shut down” his recruitment? Nothing is shut down; not even when they have necessarily signed.

He’ll be in the portal after a season or 2 if TT doesn’t perform great, or he doesn’t get the pt it national attention he fills he deserves. It still sucks to miss out on great high school talent, but with the transfer portal it stings a lot less!

Supposedly tech was at 1 Mil and lsu was at 1.5 a month or two ago.
So they mightve matched but that's his home state team. They just got some guys drafted high. It's not crazy that he stayed committed to them.

Everyone in the Dallas area knew it was always Tech. There were promises made to the family that no one will match. That is why UT and A&M backed off.

like i said MONTHS ago, this dude was highly unlikely to end up here... he was playing the game that is recruiting, driving up his price by using one of the most lucrative programs, LSU, as a bargaining chip to get what he wanted out of TT... kudos to him, it worked, and anyone that couldn't or refused to see that that was EXACTLY what he was doing, well, i just don't know what to tell you...
