My guess on those ten spots, if we take a full class

RB - Camar Wheaton or Hargrove from Ruston
WR - Brian Thomas Jr
OL - Tristan Leigh
TE - Thomas Fidone
LB - Prince Kollie
DT - Maason Smith
DE - Korey Foreman
CB - Nathaniel Wiggins
NB - Sage Ryan
S - Corey Collier

I think we maybe see Carter get dropped, I hate speculating on stuff like that but Shea even mentioned he could be a Clowney type from last year. Personally I just don’t see a need for both he and Brown. They’re the same player and I think Brown is better. If he does go elsewhere we’d have an extra spot I’d like to see us use on either Langston or another OL

This would give me enough fap material until ESD in 21’ ????. In all seriousness this would be about as insane of a finish maybe in the history of LSU recruiting, setting up nicely for our #1 ranking in 22’.

Would be tremendous. Would still like to see one more OL whether Byrd or the center from Texas we are just starting to hear about.

Agree I would like to see us take one more OL on top of Dellinger and Leigh. Somebody on the interior

If everything else remains the same, who would you replace with said OL?

One of the gluttony of WDE/OLB types. As most have speculated, Carter. We took Brown after him so I'd assume Browns higher on the board. We cannot fall into the trend of under-recruiting the OL. Either that or don't take Kollie or a 2nd RB. Or walk on the punter. Something has to give

Hey, Vol does LSU have a better than 50/50 shot at C James Brockermeyer? Do you know if they have anyone rated higher as far as an interior G or C we may get?

Wed have to flip both of them most likely so there is no chance to be honest. Dietrick Pennington and Diego Pounds are the two inside guys were looking at right now.

We don’t need another RB in this class

I agree, but if Wheaton wants in, he's in.

This would be an incredible finish. If we finish with these guys, I could care less about not grabbing any interior linemen.

Having said that, I am in the camp that we do not need a 2nd running back in this class. I'd happily take Wheaton-and I definitely believe he is a take if he wants in- but he is a long shot to say the least. I think the spot is better spent on the offensive line but it isn't an absolute.

Something tells me Collier is going to be a tough pull and a fight til the bitter end. He'd be a massive pick up.

I also agree with everyone's assessment of our edge class. Brown seems to be higher up the board than Carter-I like him a lot- so you do the math if things need to be shuffled.

Still a long way to go, but we are in position to reel in a ridiculous amount of talent.

I mean O isn't ever going to wave the white flag, but I've heard nothing that makes me even get a glimmer of hope they won't be Gumps in December

I love this finish but there is no way we do not take at least 3 more OL. Idk who we take at each position but I could see it looking like this:
DT
S
CB
OLB
OT
OG
OG/C
CB/S
TE
OLB/S/CB

Bonus: Foreman/RB/Best available (this is assuming we drop someone)

I took off WR because I could see us not getting thomas/losing one. This will be one for the ages as far as filling out the class. Usually we are left with a few spots at the end but it seems we will have the opposite problem this year. I honestly do not know how it works out if some of the bigger name guys (Wheaton,Foreman,Mckinstry, Mondon) want in.

What's your take on the CBs? How are we viewing McKinstry, Marshall, Wiggins, and Johnson?

I thought they may have this "problem" after the greatest season ever, which is why I was hoping they'd save the scholly they gave to the Harvard transfer. However, it looks like he may start, so even though he only gives you one year, I guess it's worth it.

Based on the positions that the big time prospects we are still in on play, I would wager that there is NO WAY we take more than 4 OL total. 3 is more likely in my opinion. Dellinger is on board, add Leigh (fingers crossed), and then likely one more. Unless a blue chip prospect like Savion Byrd suddenly wants in, it’s gonna be 3 OL. We just aren’t in on any interior line prospects who are good enough to justify taking them over more highly rated players at other positions. You just don’t take a 3 star guard over a high 4 star DE or S (Langston or Collier), regardless of need.
