I agree with everything you said. This has been the strangest recruitment for a guy that dominates class 2A football. The constant need from his camp for arse kissing is hilarious to me. It’s not like he’s Harold Perkins or Devin White. That type of entitlement rarely works out in the end.

Don’t care about “showing him”

I deal with facts not feelings. Quit being dramatic about the recruitment and move on. It looks weak on their whole crew.

Agreed. He may be a future hall of famer, I don’t care. The crybaby vibe from his entourage is a bad look.

Just grow a pair and say you wanna go out of state to go somewhere different. Don’t tell me your feelings are hurt bc a coach who will have been gone over a year by the time you sign hurt your feelings.

You can’t help but question toughness of people like that.

LSU should treat him just as they would any high 4star recruit from LA. If that doesn't work then he wants to go elsewhere which is his right.

You guys have no clue. Those guys could care less, arse kissing lol. It shows you guys are totally in the dark.

Coach Curtis really liked Coach House.

Agree that this whole charade makes LSU look weak. We have an outstanding program and a great new staff. Kids should be trying to impress LSU not the other way around.
It’s all here is he wants it. If not? Good luck.

Great, then come to LSU with a shot to be a Louisiana legend or go to Ohio St and be just a guy. That's not to say tOSU can't develop him to be an NFL player, but Louisiana is just different from a culture standpoint when it comes to football. It just means more.

Just ask Joe Burreaux. He knows.

Pups in here are probably too young to remember the name, Thomas Dunson. Late 90’s. Could hit like a Mac truck but had zero lateral movement hence him not getting much playing time. Dunson was 6’3 230. Now I admit I have never seen Tackett play ball but I have heard that he plays very stiff.

ohio state is saying they will build around him as the certain piece for the defense.. it is not about money with him and it is more about the want.. we have to show him we want him here at LSU. i want the kid at lsu more than anyone of you..

"I'll build the D around you."

"We have a special package of plays for you."

"You are the missing piece to make this D great."

All standard recruiting pitches for blue chip players.

We offered a free education
I’m sure there is NIL money
We are openly recruiting him

That’s enough in my mind.
He has to want to be at LSU IMO

So they’re going to put 10 guys around him? That’s a unique strategy.
As if they have had a problem for the last 30 years recruiting, they’re going to recruit a defense for him specifically.

Man, the things people believe.

In some cases, it involves other consideration.
At OSU, Wisky, a kid can get a degree from a highly regarded university which has its own value anywhere on this earth he chooses to go, long after his playing days are over.
Some here do not seem to value that, but many players and their families do.

And if he never wants to come back to the state of Louisiana, that's probably the right idea.

If he wants to work in Louisiana, it will be 10x easier to do so as an LSU grad and former LSU football player.

If the coaches want him, that's good enough for me.

However, I have watched his video, and nearly all of his plays are vertical. He lines up to the Center but about 8 yards deep. He hits like a truck, but he has zero hips. Nearly all of his tackles are within 7 yards laterally of the ball. He has a few runs on the video. There is no wiggle.

Deeper than that on most. Traditionally, small schools always lines the best player up at safety.

Down hill player, not sure how that will translate to the speed in the SEC.

If CBK wants him, he's a take.

Does LSU have a legit chance? Because it seemed before that he just wanted to leave the State.

I saw the same things on film. He’s not a 3 down lb AS OF NOW. It’s possible it will take some time for him to develop some pass defense skills. I’d still want him on my team, though.

Lol if anyone believes that they are literally idiots

Nobody especially Ohio St. builds their defense around a white above avg ILB

On3 who has the best scouts doesn't even have him as a top 10 LB or a top 200 player
