Arch Manning vs Danny Stoddard..Who is Danny Stoddard? Top Rated QB in the Country stats.

I asked the same question. Who is Danny Stoddard.
Let me tell you who Danny Stoddard is. Because he is not rated on 247 or On3. You have to google his name to find the highlights. And Boy is he good.
Danny Stoddard is 6'2" Jr QB 190 lbs Class 2024 out of Medina Ohio.
Stats in 2022
1st year QB 5035 yds passing. Played WR last year and the QB last year was a #4 QB on 247 Drew Allar signed with Penn St.
Danny Threw for
58 TDs
387 yds avg 600 plus in one of those games. I think he had 10 TDs. Can not confirm the single game stats. I have Friends whos kids go to Medina (huge LSU fans) His Uncle played for LSU in the 40s.
His team Medina plays in the Ohio St highest classification and they won the District Championship at 11-1
Arch Threw for 7,491 in his career. Arch isn't even close to this kid in Talent. Arch plays in basically a flag football league to what Stoddard sees everyday.
How in the World does On3 and 247 not have this kid rated at all.

Kid has arm talent as you see. What impresses me is the Movement while running the ball. He plays center field on the HS baseball team.
You tell me. Does this kid jump on the screen. I watched an interview with a local youtube sports show after he broke the single game passing record in State of Ohio. He clearly has NO ONE talking to him at all. For Baseball or Football.
Not here to bash Arch. I hope the best for him at Texas. But other than a name and I will leave it at that.

I guess when you see players with names like Booty, Berlin and Arch get all the PR and play in very low classification put up video game numbers and in Arches case basically his last name.
Then you see a kid nobody knows and he puts up numbers that are the best in the nation in the highest classification in Ohio football like Danny Stoddard. Kind of makes you wonder how do you miss this kid when you revamp you recruiting numbers. Stetson Bennett was 5'9" coming out of HS. This kid has all the measurables and leads the nation in passing in a true Football conference. Not exactly playing 2A & 1A private schools.

The quick answer without doing any research is that Danny most likely didn’t do the camp circuit. You don’t compete in camps and aren’t named manning then you don’t get rated.

Arch will flop at Texas, transfer to Ole Miss. Play in one game well and be drafted by the Giants. For nostalgic reasons.

Based on the video linked, he seems to lack the arm strength of most top recruits. But that might be because of his delivery and not playing QB until this year. I do have to give credit for his ability to put the ball where it needs to be and he shows great touch on his passes.

I didn't see any arm talent. There were only two plays in which he threw a pass; the highlights were almost all him at WR, at which he looked like an ice wagon.

Kid has a good arm. Puts it where it needs to be. Regardless if he goes to camps this summer or not he will be a 3-4star recruit and will play at a big time school
