So, he wants to smoke weed so badly that he was willing to transfer and sit out a year?

Let's compare where he thinks he will get a better deal.

2020-

GA- Leading receiver had 36 receptions, Leading TE had 7

Tenn- Leading receiver had 33 receptions, Leading TE had 12

Fla- Leading receiver had 70 receptions, Leading TE had 43 (All American Pitts)

Gilbert had 35 receptions in 8 games as a True Freshman at LSU!

Good Luck finding greener grass.

I hope he goes to UT so he can spend the rest of his college career not winning shite. Let him rack up all the stats in the world over there. It won’t matter.

Looking like he’s going to end up back at LSU.

I’m betting the pause on the one time transfer rule is a factor.

i hope they don’t allow this drama queen back on the team ... no way his teammates have any respect for him anymore.

I wouldn’t as a teammate. Good riddance to you mentality if you want to quit on us when times got tough.

His teammates and coaches know more about the situation than you or I. And it sounds like everyone would be cool with it

No one knows anything we can depend on.
Keep bitching and ranting.
It appears Arik grew up without a father in the home. At least none has been mentioned.
Hope he gets good advice and follows it.
It would be a shame if he wastes all that talent and opportunity for a successful future.
Good luck to him, except if he plays against the Tigers.

Sounds like this guy just couldn't get enough of the attention that goes along with the recruiting process.

There's so much passion and intensity in those few seconds. We need more good villains in SEC basketball to fire up the crowds, especially at the PMAC

I hope he goes there simply because Emory Jones sucks.

It's amazing to me how much Mullen tried to force him in there. In 2019, we weren't exactly defending Kyle Trask all that well. We turned the game on possessions where they put Jones in.

It's one of the more mind-boggling coaching decisions I've seen.

Maybe he can join Zachary Evans. Where did he wind up?

Given all the hype, I thought he would come in and take over games. I thought he'd run through and around people. And, they gave him every opportunity to do that and designed plays specifically for him.

To me though, he was a HUGE disappointment. It seemed like whenever anyone touched him, including a 175 lb. CB, he went down almost immediately. It didn't seem like he "played tough."

He could have developed over time like Fournette did from Freshman to Sophomore Year, but he was suppose to come in and make an immediate and game changing impact. He didn't. And, his pass catching skills were suspect, at best.
