Anyone concerned about Toviano’s 40 time

Sauce Garder’s 40 time coming out of highschool was 4.74 and he did quite alright for himself I’d say.

Unless he is one of the guys who lose no speed in pads, he will have to play safety with that speed.

Jerry Rice said he didn’t know how to run the 40 coming out of college, hence the infamous 40 time at the NFL combine. After watching Toviano’s game film, he’s definitely faster than 4.8.

Naw, we need safety’s too if he struggles on the outside he’s 6’0 185- 190 now. I don’t think we had a sub 4.5 guy that played this year in all honesty. None of them looked like burners…

We have a bunch of guys who can go both ways. I love what House is putting together! With the transfers were are looking at picking up, it should blend really well. Some guys will have to grow up quickly.

If that is an accurate time, yes. Did he camp at LSU? How did he get a 4 star rating if that time is accurate. I don't think that you can increase a 4.8 to 4.4 or even 4.5. I would be hesitant to offer at that position with that speed.

That's NFL CB speed. He will do fine at either spot if true.

Some guys don’t run well in a track setting but have elite “in game” speed. I wouldn’t sweat it too much.
