I know this sounds like sour grapes with Evans trending to UGA but, it just feels like Gibbs fits the offensive style of LSU way more than what Evans can offer.

He's undersized with a low center of gravity. Can catch out of the back field. Super twitchy so he'll be perfect in open space. Looks like he runs with a chip on his shoulder.

On the flip side, Evans looks like the prototypical UGA/Les Miles RB that will get 20+ carries a game in the I-formation (although not likely with how many RB's Georgia has)

I’m with ya.
After watching film on him earlier, I’m sold. Solid back that would fit right into this system and thrive !

Count me in!

Go get Gibbs, if Evans wants to come too, great, if not he’s tiger bait.

Evans is headed to Athens so there’s no point in speculating anymore. When is Gibbs supposed to visit us? I thought I read in mid January.

Evans is a big time RB coming out of high school sort of like Fournette was. But you are probably not the only one that prefers Gibbs though. I really hope we land Evans but if not, or even if we do land Evans, would still like to get
Gibbs as well if they want to take 2 RB's in this class.

Not sure how much interest Gibbs actually has in LSU, but I think he’s a great fit for LSU’s offense.

I think it has more to do with our fans hoping we can get Gibbs. I haven’t read or heard anything that would make me hopeful that we can pull him.

Yeah. I dont see LSU reeling him in. LSU needs to bring in Clayton for depth.

No you not the only one. I feel the same buddy! I honestly think he may be better at a lot of things than Evans. For the kid to have 2400 yards rushing without the quality of offensive linemen Evans has says a lot about the kid attributes.

Evans is all attention whore, Gibbs is solid back. He would fit LSU scheme better than Evans. If LSU could chose out of one or the other. I'd choose Gibbs hands down cause he fits the system better for Lsu on how they run it.

People tend to just caught up on the star ratings. Watch the tape. That’s what shows you what a guy is truly made of. And what to make of them.

Not the only one and in fact I think most feel this way. This guy is a football player and seems to be a team player with all the skills that you could ever want and more. Imo rankings don’t mean much when there’s a guy who has the combination of this ability and is a real football player. He’s a can’t miss imo. Looks durable AF to me also. Why do I say that, because no one truly gets a good hit on this guy. He’s got vision, power, speed, drive and I bet he’s a good, smart kid on top of it all.

Let me add his patience and balance with his running weapons for a HS player is beyond his years. Weapons meaning spin, juke, stop start, cutting ability without losing power balance or speed. Actually seems to speed up when he cuts. This kid is the real deal.

Is Gibbs even a possibility? Or did random posters just jump on his bandwagon?
