Evans has played better competition and has verified testing numbers which includes a 3.91 short shuttle. I can understand people being skeptical due to character concerns but I would seriously consider someone’s judgement to be questionable if they don’t believe Evans is a better talent.
As for scheme fit, Evans has great lateral quickness and is explosive. There are no issues with his scheme fit and with talent like that you adjust your scheme to your personnel like they did in the offseason. They will adjust next offseason with Brennan and Arik Gilbert.

Lol I know for a fact that this is false. The staff has been and is still currently recruiting 3-5 more top RBs. Have they been pressing them? No, they haven’t been but they have established communications and relationships long ago.
Tommy Robinson and some of the other guys on staff including Orgeron has been in contact with all these guys weekly and daily at some points. LSU is going to be just fine.

I’ve been saying since day 1 I don’t see what everyone see in Evans other than stars. That Gibbs kid is special & better IMO

I agree. The first time I saw his film I thought this guy works better in LSU's offense and I think he's a better back.
