Well, apparently dozens of Alabama players haven't minded "peeling off the Crimson A off their chests" because every game I see there are ex-Alabama players on those teams and pretty darn good ones at that...most are quality starters BTW. That entire piece of fiction is sheep poop.

Smart. Throw a shite ton of money at Ryan Williams and force Bama to match or out bid and have to use up the bulk of their funds to keep 1 player. Leaves them with less $$ to recruit additional talent. I do it to my competitors in the business world all the time.

How many times did LSU recruit a player that was probably a silent to Alabama just so we get burnt on signing day. Usually a kid from Louisiana too. What about Eli Ricks transfer—seemed like it was already predetermined he was going to there?
Alabama hates this new college football bc they can’t hoard 5 stars every year and create such a competitive imbalance that it was basically a given they were in the 4 team playoff every year even with losses.

It’s really not.
There is no “perfect way” to run it. Someone is going to get the short stick regardless. This past season was one of the most enjoyable seasons of football I’ve watched in a long time. From week to week you just never knew who was going to beat who. I personally loved it. I was so sick of the season only relying on one god damn game every year. It was always “if we beat Bama, we are in”.

If this is true, big “if” (anytime no names are mentioned it’s impossible to verify) but BK has been known to play 4D chess. He hired Marcus Feeeman in ND, when he left for LSU he supported Freeman taking the reins. Then ND said they were doing this open search, so BK put it out there that he’s offering Freeman the DC job in BR. After 2 days of Notre Dames “search” Freeman is the new HC. That’s how BK does. Maybe he and Bama were targeting the same prospect so he got Bama to up the ante on own of their guys with a little tricker-ation

Proctor literally transferred to Iowa then transferred back to Alabama last year. Probably just a change of heart is all, I’m sure.
