Fong seems to believe that it's Oregon and Ohio State with LSU running in third. We know the LSU insiders have already made their predictions. I guess we will have to see how the LSU article is portrayed after this weekend. Really seems like our side is super confident that he stays in state.

You could make the case that this is just recruiting drama buildup for clicks and that Shea already has the commitment/signing article typed up. We all remember how the DJ Pickett and Oregon talk turned out but Oregon feels good as does Ohio State about the relationships they've built.

quote:

“All four schools have a chance, but two schools are starting to create some separation on my list,” Stewart told On3. “I have to go on these last visits and see where my heart is. This is my last opportunity, so I want to spend time with the coaches, see how they coach in big games and see how the teams play. So many things matter to me.”

I think ultimately LSU will be the pick.

But also want to put the reminder out there that our 2025 DL class is super solid and 2026 is a big year in LA, so the next 2 years we'll load up with talent regardless of how this shakes out.

Fong was also convinced Pickett was going to Miami or Oregon with lsu in 3rd. I trust our insiders more than him

I believe in Coach Bo Davis and he will be the X factor that lands Stewart.

Fong thinks Underwood would flip. Hell on3 is pumping the Michigan "flipping" hype because they need something to sell leading up to ENSD.

He has LSU/Bama game, Neb@USC game, and Mich@tOSU game visits left. No visits left or planned for Oregon.

From that I dont see him going to USC unless it is just about a large amount of money... and it may be.

So from that it looks to me like LSU and the Buckeyes left in it.

It may be just me but I think BK/LSU are realizing they have got to spend the resources for guys that you think are game breakers.

The reason why Fong thought Pickett was going to Oregon is because Pickett told Hayes Fawcett he chose Oregon 48 hours prior and was getting the edit ready.

May be true but Shea was ultra confident leading up to and after Wiltfongs pick. I'm convinced a few of these kids have played games with him(wiltfong)this year. Kaliq Lockett had him running in circles over a week span during the summer.

The Stewart confidence seems to be the same and for a while now. Almost universally it's believed to be Oregon/OSU at the top yet our guys are holding the line. I'm choosing to ride with Shea even against what the clues keep telling me. Just hope this isn't one of those "godfather" confidence recruitments. Have no faith in those. We shall see soon

He wants to be paid more than he wants to be a Tiger. Hopefully the bag man cometh.

Supposedly JS is coming to the LSU/Gumps game Saturday. I'd love a win and pick him up the next week.
