Rain shower cooled everything for a bit…four were dive bombing our feeders yesterday for a couple of hours.

Feeder activity has been pretty sporadic the past few weeks. But I’m starting to get more consistent visitors now. Saw quite a few today so far.

Our one feeder is getting absolutely hammered today. Saw one on it earlier and refilled with fresh juice and they’ve been non-stop ever since.

Got a bunch of new birds this morning for some reason. I was going to take my feeders down but just refilled and now they are buzzing everywhere

anyone else getting birds all of a sudden? I’ve got a few buzzing around now they just showed up a few days ago. Filled two feeders and they are going to town

I have had 4-5 regulars all of May & June. In the last week or two I'm up to 8-10 regulars. I assume the uptick in #s is the baby hummers have grown up and are coming to my feeders.

These two have been around for a few months regularly, with a second female occasionally...I usually get a little more traffic in early August...I also had a female black-chinned and a male rufous for the first time this spring...I'm hoping they'll be back in the fall...

Been meaning to bump this thread too.
I had let the feeder sit unchanged for a bit but saw a hummer buzz by me after one of those afternoon storms ~2 weeks ago? Went ahead and refreshed the juice and have had a few coming by pretty regularly since then.

I have had two for the past few months and sometimes a third one will zip in. I have two small feeders for them to chose from. Yesterday morning all three of them were eating at the same time on one of the feeders.

I have only had one since the spring migration. I might clean up my feeders to see what is interested!

I don't use feeders. I have coral honeysuckle (native plant not invasive) and they love that thing. Any kind of plant with blooms that have shoots work well. (Salvia is another good native option). They prefer red or orange, but will feed on other colors.

I’ve got some red salvia that they love as well.
