Bump for the fall migration. Seeing some good numbers the last week or so.

I’ve got two feeders out right now in Prairieville. I’ve got three or four hanging out around the house.

We had a slightly below average number earlier in the spring but I've been seeing them again in the past week or two. BR area.

Numbers are a lot lower this year in Denham.

Metro B'ham. I've got 6 feeders out and they're covered up with birds chasing each other off from daylight to dark. From what I can tell, all Ruby Throated.

My numbers have exploded this week. I have 3 feeders on my patio and think I just counted 10-12 buzzing around.

I have seen very few this year. If y’all are seeing birds, I guess I’ll change the feed out one more time for the fall migration.

I've seen a few in Dallas but not as many as usual. I think the hot dry weather affected a lot of birds.....we had no mosquitos either. But I have seen several hummingbird moths which are supposedly rare but I guess they like my yard.

We've had an abundance of them all summer long.
We are next to woods which I believe helps.

We had about 4-5 last week and we're up to around 8-10 right now if not more. We've had a couple more every day lately.

Um, there's your problem...you need to change out the nectar every day or two in the summer. I might, MIGHT go 3 days when the temps stay in the 80s but that's pushing it.

That’s how my backyard has been this past week in central Alabama. We’ve consistently had 2 all summer but it seems like 5 or 6 more have joined them.

We lost our 50 yr old oak to #ida, but still seeing a few darting around my flower beds of large pink zinnias, red hot pokers, red salvias, and black n blue salvias for past month. Like seeing their aerial shows.

We had 1 and sometimes 2 a few weeks ago. Last week we had 2 and sometimes 3.
Now it looks to be about 4. This is just north of Lake Charles.
A couple of years ago, we put a feeder out side the kitchen window hanging under a crape myrtle. I think the hummers like having the over head protection of the tree limbs and this is on the north side of the house so it is always shaded. We like it because we can see them while in the kitchen area.
There has only been 2 years out of 25, where we have had over 15 hummers.
