LSU Delirium

Saw you didn’t really get any responses to your query about multivitamins. What I take is Preser Vision eye vitamin and mineral supplement.
Looks like the best bang for the buck.I’m not totally sure they help but don’t think it can hurt.

I also take Vit.B12 sublingual (5,000 mcg) daily.About everybody over 60 will benefit from B12.
Also take 5,000 D3,and 200 K2.
I’m surprised more people didn’t have D3 and K2 on their list of supplements, lots of
good studies on their benefit.

Has anyone in here ever experiences muscle aches because of maybe too many of a vitamin like vitamin D?

I dont take anything on a strict schedule but these are in my cabinet

Magnesium Glycinate-I use this because at night I will get restless legs sometimes and I get very bad pain in my elbow as I am trying to sleep
Kidney cop-Kidney stone prevention. Its basically Magnesium and Vit B6
Fish oil-take very sparingly
Biotin(hair skin nails multivitamin)-Never realized how much shite is actually in here.
Nature made multi gummy-Just a multivitamin but I basically use it as a post dinner snack because it tastes like candy. I eat this almost every day.

Ive noticed that Vit B6 is on most of these where if you take all 3 its about 1000% if the daily suggestion.
Vitamin D at 325%
magnesium at about 50%

Whenever I take the group of stuff, I will wake up in the middle of the night with some bad shoulder and neck pains. Its happened about 3 separate times and this is the only thing I can relate it to. Anyone experience something like this when you take multiple supplements?

I know a solution would be to just axe all of it but curious if I could just cut out a specific supplement and get positive results.

like vitamin D

I’m deficient in Vit D like many desk jockeys of my age. But I started taking one dose once a week and my levels are great now. It has a very long half life and once a week is plenty based on my experience.

No man. I doubt you can OD on Vitamin D. Just telling you a 50,000 IU weekly supplement got me in good range. For dirt cheap and once a week.

I get blood work done every three months for what that’s worth. I know you are young and don’t need it but every few years. Just sharing my experience.

I have been reading many fish oil capsules are rancid and do more harm than good. Anyone have any that are proven safe?

The liquid darkens significantly when it is rancid it is very easy to tell. Keep them in a cool dark place.

Pro-tip. Keep them in the freezer. Won’t go bad and you’ll never deal with fish oil burps again.

Multi
Fish oil
Magnesium
D and K2
C
Nattokinase
Niacin

I try to run about 30-40 miles a week, and most of that stuff is an attempt to solve a Covid/vax cardio issue. The niacin and natto seem to have done the most good on that.

Fish oil is fundamentally rancid and is the biggest meme supplement in America. Most people already get plenty of DHA from diet. Coconut oil does what people think fish oil does.
