Well I broke my leg. What can I do exercise wise?

Obviously leg day is out of the question.
I'm mainly looking for at home exercises. Obviously crutching it around will be some exercise. Maybe time to focus on my core?
Not sure how long I'll be sidelined

Work the uninjured leg as much as you can. Scientifically proven to reduce atrophy in the injured leg.

Really uneventful story. Stepped out of my front door where there is really slippery ceramic tile and ate it. Ankle rolled really awkwardly. Minor fibula fracture.

You're gonna have to start making shite up. That's seriously bad luck.
You were skiing in the Swiss Alps and the abomitable snowman tried to get you, you managed to juke him but then hit a tree root and snapped your leg

This should be a wake up call for you to lose weight and improve your bone density.

K I got a baseball bat to the ankle several times. Better?

Yeah I know I need to lose weight. Didn't think I had any bone density issues though

In good news I'm getting a free chest workout by just crutching my fat arse around.

Sects is a good cardio that you can do lying down.

Pistol squats on the good leg

I'd run Smolov Jr or Candito's bench program for the short term. Look at it as a chance to up your bench volume and drive some gains there.
Try to do some light volume on the good leg.

I broke my foot running in December and was in a below the knee cast , then a boot, for about 14 weeks.
I made dramatic improvements to my diet, watched every calorie , and made that my major focus.
I did pistol squats and mobility exercises with my good leg.
In the end , my calf and foot were weak and like jelly and my hips were rotated back / forth from cast/boot but PT and chiropractor fixed that pretty quickly.
Once I got the boot I went to the gym daily and did upper body stuff...that was more mental than physical.

I have a boot on the bad leg and it's pretty heavy so been doing some high rep quad extensions. Doctor told me I should start testing putting weight on it soon. Follow up appointment in July so this shouldn't have me sidelined too long

How long did it take you to overcome the atrophy in the bad leg? I'm able to move it around a good bit but no weight on it yet. I'm hoping with it only being about 6 weeks total it shouldn't be too bad for me.
