Do another light workout 2 days later. Consistency is the major thing that really helps.

Life just got in the way of going to the gym. I’m back full throttle though eating and all.

I specifically skip leg day for this reason. If I squat or lunge I can’t run for 3 days.

Worst feeling ever/best feeling ever

I love the sore quads and calf feeling, I loathe the sore hamstring feeling

Stretch for minimal relief. Next leg workout do at least a 10 minute jog(treadmill if you have to) post workout to pump the lactic acid out of those muscles.

You gotta ease back in when you haven’t done it in a while

Well I didn’t ease back in and went balls deep on the workout. I think I made a mistake. My hamstrings feel like they want to cramp up and I’m drinking water.

I would say go to the gym tomorrow, and go on the elliptical at the absolute easiest setting. I do this sometimes when I'm beyond sore and i feel like i won't be able to go for 3 minutes. It SLOWLY eases up

I’m extremely sore but not as bad as I thought. I have trouble sitting on toilet and kind of half way limp around but I was able to do shoulders today.

stick to the plan, you will not feel this soreness again. Well unless you quit again

That was me about a 1.5 months ago, but I deloaded my previous weight by 50% when I jumped back in.

I went thru the same thing last month. took about a week and a half for the soreness to go away completely. Good news is you'll feel better after the next leg workout. the bad news is its gonna hurt all over again the day after that next workout.

stay with it tho. I cant believe how much working my legs again has helped me lose weight. Its made a "uge" difference very quickly.

Try essential amino acids with gatorade next time you train...You'll be walking fine the next day.
