I recently got a Lifeproof case for my iPhone. Now the arm strap I was using to carry my phone is too small to work with the new case. What's the solution? I'd rather not be taking it out of the case every time I go to run or work out. IPhone 13 for what it's worth.

TIA

If I didn't have the smart watch I'd be all analog, no devices on my runs like I used to be. I'm not toting a damn phone around, I sweat enough just having to wear clothes.

The entire reason I got a smart watch was so I could track my runs/rides while leaving my phone at home/in the truck. This is my time, all calls and texts can wait.

Mine is music related. Gotta listen to my tunes when I run. We also run a lot of new routes with my run group. They use RunGo to map it and the app gives turn by turn directions.

I use a little Nike fanny pack thing. Holds phone and poop bags when I run with the dog. Doesn’t jiggle too much.

That’d be a good idea if it wasn’t totally gay.

The fanny pack is probably the most hetero thing I wear when I run. I’m a shorty shorts and no shirt guy.

Same. Not sure why I ever put a shirt on. Regardless of the conditions, I’m taking it off by mile 3.

Just hold it or get a smaller case. That’s what I do and I’ve never had an issue.

Get an apple watch or garmin (any model with music capability) and leave the phone at home.

Same here during the warm months, but I live in OH and I am not running with no shirt and shorty shorts in January lol.

To answer your original question: I wear a vest.

I typically am training for some type of event, so I usually have at least one long run a week where I take a water bottle with me. I have a running vest that holds a camelback for those long runs, and it has pockets on the front for water bottles or gel packs. I use one of those pockets for my phone most of the time. I find myself using that vest for almost every outdoor run just to carry my phone.

Y’all don’t worry about getting hurt and can’t call with leaving phone at home?

I tell my wife which route I'm running and approximately how long it'll take. Plus I'm usually running somewhere pretty public so I can always ask someone to call for me if it's really an emergency.

Could always get a cell phone enabled watch. It’s only like $10 a month.
