Good progress on the scale lately after plateauing for a few weeks.

Back down below 240. Currently in the gym hitting the weights, and finally got back to cooking the past couple of nights. Nice fresh chicken and a salad for dinner last night.

Getting lots of encouraging numbers on the scale lately so trying to weigh everyday to ensure the overall average is decreasing like my brain wants it to

Trying to get as close to possible to goal in next 3.5 weeks for a vacation and will re-assess after

Taking a few weeks off from workouts though, so could be losing a bit of muscle. Will get back after it after next week.

I started the original putdownadaforka thread. This one is misnamed. Pronounced like a fat quido from Jersey would - with hand gestures.

Checked my fitness pal this morning and this is the lowest weight I've been in almost 6 years (used to run ~140-145 between 2011-2015). Feels good and also my method feels sustainable, like I won't relapse.

Goal achieved before 8 day vacation. Hopefully don't regress too much. 23lbs in almost 7 months and was able to basically eat whatever I wanted on weekends. Cutting alcohol on weekdays and replacing with NA beers helped a lot.

Will probably try and hit 145 after I get back then work on upping calories to maintenance and focus more on lifting.
Hate to do two posts in a row, but not much activity here lately.

Kinda stagnant lately, but made it through vacation without too much damage.

Slow progress but I've decided to stop being a bitch.

Got up to 235 in March but

well essentially 3 weeks of vacation...gained 2 lbs and sit at 198. not bad but figured 25k+ steps a day at disney would have helped more, but oh well.

back to the grind. starting a version of walrus training in 531. essentially 531 beginner prep school plus weighted vest work.

Similar here - 10 days of vacation tons of walking up and down hills, pushing stroller, chasing around kids at beach and water park, etc. Didn't even eat terribly most days. Gained ~3lbs but I feel bloated given food quality so hopefully some water weight.
Kind of disheartening after all the effort prior.

Back to the grind today but another 4 day trip coming up in 10 days so need to be perfect up to that point

Also have some new lower back pain from a bad cough and carrying around so much luggage and kid stuff all over the country, can't overdo it. The world kind of goes to hell when I get out of my work/workout groove.

Alright, school is starting so I have an actual life routine. Summers have been notoriously bad for me. Drinking beer, eating poboys. I did a lot of that but I only put on 12 lbs total. Started summer at 218 (personal best) weighed in at 230 this morning. Bloated and joints inflamed. Much better than last August when I weighed in at 267, so there’s that.

230/230/205

I think 205 is realistic based on how I look right now. I’d love to hit 190/195 and have a real life weight of 200-205. I’m 6’3”

I’m walking everyday these next 2 weeks. Running will crank up after that. Cutting out the carbs completely. No/very little alcohol during the week.

100 push up program starting over, core on non push-up days. Let’s get it folks!!

Yeah, I've been able to stay pretty consistent with both diet and exercise. Looks like you you got to goal regardless!

I am assuming the numbers are starting weight/Current Weight/Goal weight? Is that correct?

285/260/240. Started out the year at 285. I have been stalled out at 260 for a few months. Time to break through and continue the journey on to goal weight for the year.

My current Macros are 224 Protein. 161 Carbs and 73 Fat for a total of 2200 calories.
