Back on wagon after moving and a vacation with lots of good food. Didn't screw up too bad.
Only problem is finding a good workout situation in the new house while unpacking and organizing things.

16 lbs in 16 weeks. Getting real close to my goal and starting to wonder if I should keep going.

Started working out more consistently in January while watching calories and increasing protein. I've been able to add some muscle while losing fat. Time will tell, but I think I'll like the way I look around 215.

Morning workouts are so much better than trying to use the gym at 5p. Loving the hamburger, salsa, cheese and taco seasoning snack in the evenings. Wife absolutely loves it as well so we cook up 2 lbs at a time and it never lasts more than 15 minutes since my oldest son will grab some of it as well.

Had a setback (as expected) last week while on vacation. I kept myself in check as much as possible with breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinners I prepared. The occasional lunch and dinners where we ate out, I just did my best in picking semi-healthy options while not stressing over it. While I didn't officially log any workouts, I got tons of steps (11k/day avg with ~48 hrs total drive time). Hiking up hill with a 60# child on your shoulders gets ROUGH. Not too long ago I would've struggled making those hikes with just my weight. It was a nice relief not having to worry about weight limits for activities. I think I surprised my 9yo (sub 10% BF and trains for gymnastics 16hrs/wk) when we would race and she could no longer beat me every time. We went 1 and 1 on rock walls, I beat her in an up hill race, and she beat me in a relatively flat distance race.

Had a great day yesterday with my lift and getting some walks in around the neighborhood. This morning I got a big surprise as I saw 259.8 which is my lowest since 2019.

Down to 241, wish I would have lost more but work has been insane. Finally got my blood pressure under control, went from average of 150/100 to 120/75, but had to use medication. Hope is once I drop back down to 180 I won't need it anymore. Ashamed I got to this point still, but proud to be losing weight again.

252/241/185 I guess is what I should put.

I’m basically holding steady the last few weeks.

Stayed relatively flat this week. Need to get back on my meal prepping so I can keep my diet more balanced.

Slow progress which I'm okay with as long as moving the needle weekly. I always cheat a bit on the weekends but now feel confident can maintain the discipline during the week. Kind of feels like I'm in a groove that is maintainable long term - which is really the goal.

Trying to hit goal by a vacation end of July, so 6.5 weeks to go

Dropping about a pound/week on average over the past month. Hoping to get to goal before a plateau. I've been weighing every morning and see some crazy fluctuations that I assume are just due to a change in water retention for one reason or another. 2-3 lbs difference from the previous day sometimes.

That's pretty normal. Just pay attention to the weekly average for a more meaningful number.

Ate meh the last couple of days, but we are in the process of moving houses. Instead of getting fries, got side salads on meals. Probably stagnant over the past couple of days, but understandable. Knocking out a couple of long walks today and moving will count for weight training.

Weight slightly up due to the move; however, finally moved over. Burned plenty of calories moving furniture and boxes up a flight of stairs, and will burn more tonight. Excited to get back on the weight loss journey.

Had a very bad (but it was really good) eating weekend that was planned for, nice dinners, drinks etc. Scale had been moving daily before this so I'm fine with it.

Not even going to weigh myself again until end of the week after all the fatty foods, bloating, and alcohol past few days - just back to work

May end up moving my goal down to 145 then lifting more depending how I look idk but I was able to fit into some old shirts I haven't worn in over a year

thats all that matters

im holding pretty steady at 196, which isnt bad since this is the busiest time of the year for me.

so made it through rough part of the year for me. been stupid busy this week with tryouts for my youngest and world series coming up.....

but weighed in at 195 this morning, so huge win for me to maintain and even lose a little. have world series starting tomorrow and then have 3 weeks to get after it hard AF before we leave for pigeon forge, then have 1 week back home before heading to disney end of july.

really hoping to get to 185 befroe PF, but we shall see. hoping to start august below 190 and plan to be pretty strict in august through thansgiving. want to whittle away to 10% and try to hold a month or so.

lifting Plan is to do ppsa strongville for sure august and september. not sure if i want to do squatober or just carry on strongville all the way through december yet. if i do squatober, gonna hit hypertrophy the last 2 months.
