My front squat form is kinda crappy and so I basically made my arm sore right above bicep with the bar. I said frick it and did Landmine squats yesterday and could go a lot heavier. That might have been a mistake lol. I do like this program so far tho (done with day 6)

I took the plunge and started Benchaholic. Really like the setup.

It’s a great program to transition to after completing one with higher intensity like pool season or BBB.

Mixture of high / low intensity bench sets with squats, deads and arm accessories.

I have run big bench for Christmas a couple times, and find it funny how much more total pull work there is in it to go with the daily pressing. I don’t recall it having deadlifts but I could be misremembering.

Just finished Summer Stacked today; I liked it a lot. Heavy doubles up to 375 on squats was pretty nice way to end a program. Not sure what I'm running next; may just raise maxes and re-run it again

Anyone in here doing Squatober this year? I noticed Zerchers and RFESS programmed a decent bit in the prep plan. I wonder if that is just general GPP for the month or if AA will incorporate other squat variations this year.

How do you like the updated prequel program? I prob won't be doing it in October this year, baby is 2 months old and I have been in the wilderness for the last few months. Been running db strength, but don't have the time yet for 5 days of lifting a week or have enough sleep to recover properly. It's a blast though. I did it last year and will prob run Squatober in Jan.

Congrats on the baby I am expecting my first in November so I will be right behind you. Will take all the dad training tips you have lol..

I did not purchase this years squatober prep I just noticed the squat variations through the PPSA IG reposts and screenshots. I am debating on using my last full month childless doing Squatober or another program.

When everyone says they have run Arm Farm for the umpteenth time, which arm farm are we talking about - OG or remastered? I have both and they seem totally different, though both emphasize the arms over anything else.

OG seems more strength based and remastered seems to be more hypertrophy based. Which one is everyone running first and which one has everyone seen better results from?

I’ll be doing squatober for the 4th year and I’ve never seen the Zercher squats anywhere before except in the Prequel plan and I’m not a big fan of them honestly.

I’m a soon to be dad of number two coming in mid November as well. I’ve been trying to gather up some dumbbells and kettle bells so I can get some home workouts in during the newborn phase. When #1 arrived 2.5 years ago, I fell off of the wagon bad and I can’t let that happen again this time.

100% do squatober. Join our squatober thread. That was my first ever PPSA workout program and I’ve been hooked ever since.

100% agree if you have the time to do Squatober do it. I hit a new 1RM max last year and would be doing if it if I had time to lift 5 days a week. I have most of the PPSA plans and same first time seeing zerchers, which means a good chance they'll be programmed this year.

I've just started turnt up since I can realistically lift 3x a week for prob the next month or two.

Curious to hear what others think on this too. I've done both but prefer the OG version. I did like the tate press addition on Arm Farm 2.

Awesome. I saw this post last week and started Monday (coming off a cycle of BBB) instead of doing Squatober. I've really enjoyed it so far.

What is everyone who did Squatober running this month? I am doing 1 DB only, 1 KB Only and 1 Full Body lift from the Strength on the Go plan this week, might do an arm only day as well. Plan on starting one of the regular programs back up next week after this quick reset.

I'm running mass that lasts remastered.

I love the breakdown of the days, one being big 3 lifts and the next being all auxiliary work.

It usually gets a little stale around mid week 3, but it's one of my favorite programs

I'm doing Filling Out the Hoodie also (for the first time). In the same spot with day 3 being tomorrow. I can for sure tell that I've been missing some of the aux lifts. Biceps, shoulders, and (especially) triceps are feeling it currently.

Coming off Big Back Billy and Squatober, I wanted something a little less legs and back focused. Need to give them a little break before Deadcember.
