More and more everyday. I'd settle for a planet fitness at this point.

I don’t know much about this type of music but think (?) that means it could be anything from metal to crappy Color Me Bad 90s music. I somehow ended up at a Christian type event a decade ago but every band had a completely different sound than the one before it.

I did a drop-in at Savior CrossFit in Florida a few years ago. They played Jesus music, which was uniquely inspirational, and me and my partner (cousin's husband who was also drop-in) got first by a lot over members there while doing RX movements. With that said, not sure I would voluntarily make that audio part of consistent training regimen.

My gym plays a franchise required contemporary channel. Suddenly as the BLM movement exploded, every other song is rap. I asked the girl about it and she didn't know why. I would kill for some Christian music. The same crappy songs on the same rotation everyday. They play it soo loud that is comes in over my ear buds. I asked if there was a channel that played high energy, no words, just repetitive beats, so everyone cold somewhat be appeased. She asked if I liked that, I said no, but anything is better than what they had been playing.

Is this a new thing or have they always?

Cuz if its not new, you knew when you signed up. You pay them. Find a new gym if you hate it.

I listen to my own music or podcasts when I work out. I can't get into it if i hear other people talking and whatnot.

If you’re an atheist why would you even go to the gym? You believe you descended from a monkey and you never see them lifting weights

I prefer the David Goggins approach, no music. Training with music avoids training one of the fundamental mental portions of performance.

Just added all of those to my workout list. Check out "A New Fire" from Sent by Ravens. It falls in line with that lineup and really motivates me.

People that can't workout or go for a run without music are complete weakness trash.
